Really couldn't have asked for a better start to 2009. So many questions immediately put to rest, so many doubters immediately shushed, so many seats filled on the bandwagon. Same ol', same ol. Mizzou beats Illinois in football. Stop the presses.

I noticed that too. Fun to watch
also, When he plastered LeShoure I about jumped into the TV to high five him myself. Some other stuff; I know Gettis took a risk by going for the ball on the pass he knocked down, but where in the past a miss on his part (see the KU game for DB misses) and we’re in trouble. But, Rutland would have been coming in at the right angle showing our cover scheme may be pretty solid. Also, when Gettis stripped Cumberland, Rutland and Howard were right there too. I like the speed to the ball we showed in this game.
