Brad Smith and the J-E-T-S will be up first, kicking off in about a half an hour. Chase Daniel and the Saints will follow that around 5:30 central time. Are you watching? Are you drinking? Are you cheering? Lay it all out here for a great afternoon of pro football which will hopefully lead to at least one Mizzou alum having a shot at a Super Bowl ring.

As for me, we all know I am pulling for the Jets. It has blown my mind as the week has progressed to see all the people lining up behind the Jets and picking them to win. For me, this is like making the Final Four. I have always said making the Final Four would be a lot of fun, and I would walk out of Saturday’s semifinal probably happy no matter what. However, if we were to win on Saturday, we had damn sure better win the following Monday. So…I am happy today..but if we win today, we had damn sure better win in a couple of weeks :-)
As for MN/NO, I dont have any real hatred for Favre, and truly believe he was a part of the Jets success this year in teaching them how to win last year (moving them from 4 wins to 9 wins). New Orleans would be a lot of fun as well.

Saints and Colts
My main reasoning is the fact the I hate Brett Favre and as a fan what other way can i pick then using bias…..
plus I’m sure (hence hopeful) Favre is going to blow it while I am fully confident in what Brees can do and WILL DO…
As for the Colts, I expect….. not a very close game… I think the Jets will get bad karma (will some time) not deserving to get in if Colts try and not deserving to be here fi the kickers remember how to kick (5 consecutive missed FGs?)
Plus I don’t see a Colts defense that is better than the SD defense get ripped up…. Chargers only allowed 17, 7 of which is thanks to Phillip Rivers which I’m sure won’t happen to Peyton…

A large amount of those INTs came in a small handful of games. Next year, I think, will tell the tale of what kind of QB Sanchez is going to be. If he continues to throw a boatload of picks, that’s one thing, but if those #‘s start to come down, I’ll think he’s rounding into the QB they want him to be.

Apparently the coaches don't think so.
I mean … they probably didn’t think they’d be playing for the Super Bowl this year when they named him a starter, but for his flaws, he’s made key plays at key times, and there’s nothing saying Clemens would have done that. He’s made more mistakes than Clemens, but he’s probably made more plays too.
