Bill Teegins was my favorite local broadcaster when I was growing up in Oklahoma, and it made me happy to see C&C Machine saying really kind words about both Teegins and OSU as a whole.

How long do I have to wait for Craig James to stop being relevant?

Wait wait wait

It said that Craig James, through his PR Company, issued a statement stating that he did not say he was going to sue the school.

Let’s think about this…..HE HAS HIRED HIS OWN PR COMPANY !!!!!!!!!!! If you have to do that, chances are…..you’re a dick.

Bill - Regarding you note about Bill Teegins, I couldn't agree more.

Bill and his wife and daughter lived just down the street from us. Our wives knew each other quite well as did my son and his daughter. Bill was a great sportscaster….best in Oklahoma at the time…and was very friendly. Would see him around the neighborhood and he always had a smile and would always stop to visit.

It was a great loss to the Cowboy Nation, and to all of those of us who knew Bill on a personal rather than professional level. He’s still missed to this day!

I may be drunk, but you're ugly, and tomorrow morning I'll be sober!

He was great.

He was a total OSU homer but still managed to be reasonably objective. And even though I was usually rooting for OSU (except against Mizzou), he was so great in reacting to bad OSU plays (either expressing total disgust or just having his voice trail off where you couldn’t hear the end of the sentence) that I was entertained even when they were doing poorly. He had a lot of heart and a lot of love for his job.
