True, but after his contract is up (2012?)
and the Royals aren’t contending for at least a playoff spot it’s gonna be tough to keep him. In conjunction with if Greinke hasn’t started to fall off by then he will be a huge trade to stock pile the minors. Which is what the Royals GM is good at, stocking the minors.
I hope not either, I hope he’s a lifer, but baseball is a business, and so…. I don’t know.

Also note to self: always take a walk before posting on another site after spending time at royalsreview. That did come across more negative than it should.
I just remember a couple footnotes about reliever potential in his future pre-draft and with our god awful luck getting someone to pan out I work hard to keep expectations low. :)
