Dexter McDonald switches commitment to kU
I heard this via Jeremy Crabtree on 810 on the way home tonight-- he characterized it as "breaking news."

He couldn't have done this two days ago?
He had to wait until AFTER we had finished the Cornerbacks Walkthrough?
In all, not the biggest loss — it comes at a position of depth for the recruiting class (with Holt, Gaines and X. Smith all coming in), but the biggest loss might just be that we were in on both Curtis Carter and Keeston Terry until McDonald committed and we were done. If he hadn’t committed initially, we might have been able to snag one of those two. Probably too late in the process for either one of them now…

Keeston Terry
is still pretty much a lock at kU according to Crabtree… he seemed to think that there would be no new commitment to replace McDonald.
And— I had the same thought about the walkthrough :)

If so....
the waltkthroughs better wait until after signing day from now on.
Hope McDonald is accustomed to failure and playing second fiddle. If not, he better get used to it now that he is a beaker
does the man understand the ramifications of his switching
Great moments are born from great opportunity.
Funny it's called a 'solid verbal'
Hard to consider a guy that has switched twice now has a solid verbal anywhere. His words mean nothing.
solid verbal
man does that sound inappropriate

Cool
Maybe we can get Curtis Carter back from TCU.

It's OK, he sucks anyway.

Great Oden's Raven I love Mike "The Predator" Dixon!
spot open. . .
any rumors if we will or who we will fill his scholarship spot with?
My sister knows McDonald
She texted him and he said: “I know the new football coach at KU. MU’s recruits were kinda forceful.”
If it makes any of you feel better, he texted her back saying “Mizzou is still tight, tho.”
I kidded with her to talk to him and she actually did. I find that hilarious. BTW, my sis will be a freshman at Mizzou next year. So at least we didn’t lose her to the great enemy.

Fear to mention your sister in these places
Less she get ZouDaved. I’d hate to see you have to go to all the trouble of tracking down that nuclear finger thing.
Whatever.
No one will remember me because I don’t make highlight videos filled with Limp Bizkit.

Will Colorado get him in time?
With his continual Westward commitments, will Colorado get his commitment before signing day?
This sucks for one reason only ...
… that we missed out on Curtis “Don’t Call Me Clarence” Carter because we reserved his spot for McDonald.
That’s the biggest loss in this whole scenario. Hopefully the coaches handled this with class (as I’m sure they did) and it won’t affect the recruitment of Justin Smith, Jr. (Dan Tapko).

Because of the overwhelming awesomeness of Clarence Carter
I humbly recommend that the first Tiger to be “Strokin” in each game from here on out be dubbed “Clarence Carter” for the remainder of said game. And then he punches the pardner and takes a shot.
