"The (recruiter) for our school for A&M, he's turned a lot of people off," one coach said. "The guys from Texas and OU, they come in and are very easy to talk to and are very comfortable. The coach from A&M, he thinks a lot more highly of A&M than most people do. He doesn't realize their place in the pecking order at the moment. He seems to think they're just entitled to get whoever they want because they're Texas A&M. That's just not the case anymore. It was that way 20 years ago, but it's not now. He still thinks it's that way and it rubs a lot of coaches and kids the wrong way. He can't understand when one of our kids doesn't want to go there." -A high school coach in Texas on why A&M recruiting is struggling. Sounds like the fans aren't the only delusional ones.
