if your starting qb is playing scared
and your team is getting dismantled in front of your eyes…a good coach puts his team in the best possible position to win a game. If Franklin gives you another look when you have not been able to move the ball at all, go for it.
You know he's playing scared?
Are you secretly Tyler Gabbert and have some sort of telepathic connection with your brother? Are you exchanging text messages with Blaine in which he says “OMG I POOPED MY PANTS” or something of that like?
A good coach would not put James Franklin in the wildcat. Just stop.

Honestly
Having intelligent opposing fans makes this board better.
I much prefer that over a board with 100% home views
It's not trolling, it's called being a fair and reasonable person.
You, OTOH, are not.

Man. We dominated the 2nd quarter...but the offense just couldn't take advantage of some nice field position.
We got a punchers chance in the 2nd half if we can get a couple of turnovers
That may have reduced our win probability to almost nothing
we have a shot, but needed to get 2 scores in the first half.

If our defense plays that well and we can connect on just one or two of those deep bombs
I like our chances to really make this interesting.
It's a tall order, but 35 points wins this game for Mizzou.
28 or 30 makes it very close, at the least. Nobody said it would be easy, especially when you allow 24 first-quarter points.

"Smell the perfume but don't drink it because it might kill you." Erin Andrews recounting advise from Gary Pinkel
We really needed to score at the end of the second quarter.
The receivers aren’t getting open, and when they are Gabbert isn’t throwing the ball well. That said, there really should have been a PI called on the play that Woodland dropped the pass in the endzone.
AND the pass to Jackson on the previous play
"Those who fear disorder more than injustice inevitably produce more of both." -- Rev. William Coffin
