Mizzou - Georgetown Tickets Now On Sale ($25)

1

Tickets for Missouri Basketball's Nov. 30 contest against Georgetown University at the Sprint Center in Kansas City are now on sale to the general public. The Tigers and Hoyas will play one of college basketball's more highly-anticipated games next month and Mizzou fans can secure their seats now through SprintCenter.com and Ticketmaster.com. All remaining seats to the contest will be sold through those outlets with tickets starting at just $25. For fans wishing to order by phone they can call Ticketmaster at 1-800-745-3000. Game time in Kansas City is set for 8 p.m. and Missouri and Georgetown will meet for just the second time in series history. The Hoyas lead the series 1-0 thanks to a 63-51 win in Washington, D.C. on Feb. 20, 1982. ED NOTE (per my Uncle whom worked for the KC Star) (Tigr), you need to look into the history of this game. It is a game Georgetown has owed Mizzou since 1982. We went to DC to play them. The game was supposed to be at the Capitol Center with Big Ten officials. Ended up playing at the gym on the Georgetown campus with 3 High School officials. After the game Norm said it was no problem. They owed us a return game and he thought he could get the gym in Shelby and his uncle and two brothers would be available to officiate. Georgetown refused to come to Mizzou.
