and we still had 2 wide open receivers. Their secondary is abysmal. We should be able to capitalize as the game wears on.

The difference is that Navy would do it every play.
ISU did it on third and long. We still had two wide open guys. I think the wind influenced that third down throw. Just look at the wounded quail Tiller throwed in that direction back in the first quarter.
