Why
Hasn’t Jerod-Eddie been suspended by the Big 12 yet? Seems like a no brainer. Then again, why on earth has Sherman suspended him?
And Please...
Don’t tell me that under piles thing like that happen all the time, they don’t — as evidenced by Cotten’s reaction. Not to mention, even if things like that do occur under piles on a routine basis that is completely different from it being recorded for all to see.

Perhaps not prostate
but TJE would know if Cotten is experiencing any testicular torsion or abnormal swelling.

Curious what other people think...
Do the words “I’m a passionate guy” at the beginning of the Pellini Appeasement of the Masses “apology” invalidate all the words following for anyone else?

No, not that...
If he says “I’m a pasisonate guy, and sometimes it leads me to go too far…” than I have no issue. Nothing wrong with admitting that an attribute that is normally a strength can become a weakness.
What invalidates most of what he said, for me, is when he essentially said “I am sorry if anybody was offended.” An apology is two or three words. “Ifs” and “buts” have no place. You either take the responsibility or you don’t.
Awesome.

Let's see...
…Texas A&M has a 5-2 conference record, as does Mizzou who gave aTm a beat down in their own house. Yet Missouri is the team with “vastly inferior talent” and the Aggies are poised to become the ‘New Texas’.
1) What flavor is that Kool-Aid they’re drinking down there in College Station?
2) How is it that Mizzou fans are the ones typified as jumped-up, overly optomistic, team egotists?
I’m not saying that aTm isn’t a good program and I know that Mizzou has a tendency to go tits up when they start getting the love they deserve but this is getting stupid.
Oh, didn't you get the memo?
Mizzou is the Big 12’s bitch. I’m pretty sure that was circulated sometime this summer when we were blamed for the conference’s near implosion.

I got the memo..
…and being a moderately long-time Mizzou fan means that, unfortunately, I do understand this train of thought. A ‘nothing’ program like Missouri will never be great until they are clearly an elite team. A ‘traditional power’ like aTm is, clearly, just a single season from becoming the greatest football powerhouse in the nation. This is stupid but at least it is well known, institutionalized stupidity.
The issue is just that if Mizzou fans start talk like this we are just egotists who are cheering for a nothing program (we do have some fans who are too quick to talk but then every team has ‘em). Yet aTm puts together a decent, though not spectacular, season and suddenly the local talking heads are acting like they are going to de-throne the Longhorns. Yeesh, glad to see that we’re the ones considered to be crazies.
.
Missouri will never gain national attention until they win good bowl games.
Missouri will never get invited to the good bowl games until they gain national attention.
Wash, rinse, repeat.
As I have said repeatedly, Mizzou’s only chance is to take the decision out of everyone else’s hands by winning the Big XII. As long as they always come up short, they will never break the cycle.

Traditional Power?
With one (1939) national title?
Hell, that’s one more than we have, and we were boned out of one by a poor performance against a team with an ineligible player.
