The snark is great!
As good as the Onion.
Taylor Martinez, who played through ankle and foot injuries but still managed to take a heroic seven sacks on the evening, was careful not to blame the referees’ controversial call to make Nebraska play the entire game.
I love the comments (as usual)
they range from “you’re a commie Nebraska hating liberal skank who doesn’t know anything about football because you’re just a girl” to “that’s the greatest thing I’ve ever read, we ARE slightly ridiculous”
Wait...
there isn’t a mercy rule in NCAA football?!?
Who knew!

One fan called her a "slit"
seriously people, thats pretty horrible
i think that might be the worst thing i’ve ever read from a commenter
yeah... so bad that I was going to mention it in my comment
but figured that “skank” was far enough…
Well
I understand you what you mean, but it doesn’t have the same impact when pointing out how horrible those Nebraska fans are being.
Calling someone a skank or a bimbo, which commenters on that article are saying, while still inappropriate, is not really unexpected from dumb ass commenters. “Slit” is out of bounds.
Yeah.
First thing that popped into my head when I saw that was “wow, if my parents heard me say that ever, I would probably get smacked.” Some fans (especially the CornHoles this year during their state-wide mental breakdown/paranoia of conspiracies) are completely unable to separate sports form reality.

And yet...

Can we start totally ignoring NU now? Please? Their basketball team is awful and so is their baseball team, and no one is going to watch them destroy Washington. Is it okay to pretend like NU doesn’t exist?
Fire Chris Cosh!
that must be
the visiting team’s fans’ gate.

Sound familiar
My hats off to Oklahoma, it was a great game. It was just unfortunate for our Offensive Coordinator to AGAIN not adapt to a football game and change his gameplan accordingly. 20 points in first half, kudos to Shawn Watson, 0 in 2nd half shows that he was outcoached by OU. He didn’t make any changes. Then when we get into field goal range to tie it, he calls a drop back pass with a guy notorious for not throwing the ball away, so we get a sack and no field goal attempt. Nice… Please Vanderbilt, offer Shawn Watson the job.

hahahaha
The article is just a summary of what “Husker fans” have sounded liked for the last half of the season. I think its time for us to look in the mirror, bite our tounge, support the team. We’re acting like Mizzou and frankly fellow Husker fans, it’s starting to get annoying.
