- MUtigers.com: Tigers Host Aggies on Wednesday
Texas A&M has won five consecutive against Missouri including two straight in Columbia ... Missouri leads the overall series 11-7, but hasn’t won since a 74-68 triumph on March 11, 2004, in Dallas, Texas, in the Big 12 Tournament ... Missouri is 5-2 vs. the Aggies all-time in Columbia.

Fox Sports: NCAA tournament expansion far from done
I just cannot say enough about how bad an idea a 96-team NCAA tournament is. If they do pursue it, I'll probably throw together a "What If they'd done this in the past?" series, but ... I certainly won't enjoy it much. We complain about 6-6 football teams being rewarded for mediocrity ... well just wait until a 15-17 Big East team makes the tournament ... which will almost certainly happen unless they put in a "nobody under .500" rule ... in which case a 17-15 ACC team would take their place.

- The Trib: New crop of DBs for Tigers carries 'orgasmic'?! label
"If the Tigers signed a taller defensive back who plays like [E.J.] Gaines, they’ve signed a pro prospect," in-state recruiting analyst Danny Heitert said. "Over the past two seasons Gaines has put together an orgasmic highlight package."
..."Everyone was afraid to throw at him," Fort Osage Coach Ryan Schartz told The Examiner newspaper. "If they did, he made them pay."
Here’s proof: In a Class 5 sectional victory last season, Park Hill’s quarterback targeted the receiver Gaines was covering three times. Gaines intercepted two of those passes and knocked down another.
For the season, Gaines made 89 tackles and picked off five passes.

I'm sorry, but the Scott Brown/Dems love affair ...
… was absolutely hilarious.

Sergio was good
but for my money Hamm and Buble was better.
“Every night we’ll have two shows performed by Michael Bubbly. In the 8:00 show, Michael will do a ventriloquist act. In the 11:00 show, he does a one man show on William Faulkner”.

On the 96 team tournament
I don’t really see the problem with it. 30 games in a 300+ team division(or even just 85ish teams that are BCS + some choice mid majors) is not enough to really be all that definitive on who the best team is. That 17-15 ACC team is likely a few bounces from being a 5 seed. It forces a more difficult/longer path to the national title, which I have a hard time being upset with. Plus I personally would love a week long slate of games like Thursday and Friday are now.

A 96 team tournament is a terrible idea
it would reduce the importance of the regular season, and the majority of the extra 32 teams probably wouldn’t deserve it. If it were 96 teams, all but maybe one big 12 team wouldn’t be out of the tournament picture yet, and I really don’t want to see the MEAC or the Big Sky become a two bid conference. It’s easily the best postseason in sports, why change it?
