In the most recent game versus Colorado, I noticed a few things from the Student Section that I would love to share with the lovely readers of RMN.
First, those black out shirts must have worked. I don't have access to the number of website hits, but it has to be up a significant percentage. Whilest at the game, I heard many a reference to: "Laffy Saffy, Vrroom Vrroom Party Starter, Hustle/Flow". To the guy behind me, I think I know my memes, and Steve Mo' "The Show" is not an official meme of RMN... yet!
Secondly, The halftime show from Colorado must be shared. If you have been to a game this season, you will notice that they do a Boone County free throw competition at halftime. The winner shoots for a chance to win $5,000. This week, the guy who won the free throw competition only made one ball, the money ball (So technically 2!). That's sad! Anyways, he proceeds to the drain the half court shot for 5 grand and the student section erupted. This is the third time it has happened at Mizzou Arena this season - incredible. (UPDATE: "to add to the story he didn’t actually win the free throw competition, he tied some lady in her 50s and had to beat her in rock, paper, scissors to shoot the money shot." - soccerfreak)
Thirdly, keep on RMN'ing, people are noticing!

Keep spreadin' the good word, my man.
RMN has been around for 2+ years, and I’m STILL always blown away any time someone brings up RMN to me.
Hell, my head nearly exploded when I met darklighter09 at the Baylor game after UribeAuction heard him make a Kendial Lawrence infinity reference.

half court shooter happens to be a friend of mine.

first off yes i tied the old lady and yes im somewhat ashamed of that fact but i got to tell you its pretty tough shooting free throws while looking into the gold of the zou crew and i was somewhat shaky being in front of an announced 14,000 plus….. but still no excuse i have heard my form was a little off and looking back i shot a little too quickly
second who are you soccerfreak? i didnt know any of my friends were on rockmnation

My friends and I all bet on the halftime events. It makes them more interesting. Well betting on anything makes it more interesting.
