Fortunately, OSU winning today gave us another team to make that possible.

Assuming a 1-1 week from us:

Best case scenario, OSU and Texas win out, meaning aTm and Baylor need to win @ OU and @ TT just to force a 5 way tie. In that case, Texas wins the south round robin and we knock them off and get the 3 seed.

The bad news is that the two big games this week require road teams winning to help us: OSU@aTm and UT@BU.

For a more likely scenario, let’s assume all 5 teams win their games against TT, ISU, OU, and NU, and lose to KU. This doesn’t work chronologically, but with the two big games to go, we’d have

Baylor 10 v. UT
aTm 10 v. OSU
Mizzou 10 DONE
Texas 9 @BU
OSU 9 @ATM

If Baylor and OSU win: Baylor gets the 3 seed, Mizzou gets the 4, OSU 5, aTm 6, UT 7
If Baylor and ATM win: Baylor and ATM get 3-4 in some order, Mizzou 5, UT 6, aTm 7
If Texas and OSU win: like we said before: Mizzou 3, UT 4, OSU/BU 5-6, aTm 7 (I think)
If Texas and ATM win: ATM 3, Mizzou 4, UT 5, Baylor 6, OSU 7 (I think)

Naturally this means that somebody like OU will throw a wrench into all this, or maybe we have a great or crappy week. But as it stands, if we win Tuesday, there are a lot of avenues into a bye.

when was the last time mizzou had a sub 1 BCI? has that ever happened? when was the last time we even lost the BCI battle for that matter? that’s just crazy.
