Mizzou Links, 2-4-10
Predictably, another boatload of links...two major Link of the Day candidates: PowerMizzou's "recruiters on the recruits" piece, and Rush the Court's takedown of the 96-team bracket--they show who would likely be in or out of the tourney right now. In: the entire ACC. On the bubble: OU. Think about that. Why even have a regular season? But we start with the end of a streak...

The expression on the students faces during that dunk kind of sums up yesterday's game.
That was a tough loss. Credit to A&M for playing some great d in the second half, and to Mizzou for fighting in the end to get back in the game. Ten minutes without a field goal…even against great defense, is pretty mind numbing. Let’s hope the boys refocus for Colorado. That game just got a whole lot more important.
I, for one, think the 96 team tourney idea is absurd. Why mess with something that is already awesome? I really can’t think of one good reason why they would go through with this. Oh wait, it probably has something to do with money. Shocking!
BCS + 96 team tournament = poop
a lesson in how to lose
was the good thing about this game. They simply aren’t a good enough shooting team to get away with long periods where they take quick shots and refuse to drive the ball. I think they can beat about anybody when they are sharing the ball and getting to the line, but when they try to play the ‘do it myself’ game, they will generally be screwed.
I trust Mike to get the point across. Hopefully this was the last object lesson they need, and will stick to the program much more and limit their lapses to a few minutes or possessions here and there.
I must have missed something
But of whom is Dave Matter speaking about?
