Alright, initial Trifecta...

…I got this from ESPN’s stats, which are sometimes really off, but initially it looks like…

1. Denmon 23.6
2. English 20.2
3. Ramsey 11.3
4. Tiller (?) 7.8
5. Safford 7.6
6. Bowers 5.4
7. Taylor 4.0
8. Moore 2.6
9. Dixon 1.4

And after his beyond horrible performance against ATM, MP3 didn’t see the court…

So the trifecta is Denmon-English-Ramsey. Your winner: nobody. If this were a skins game, we’d be carrying over the money for a third hole…

by sirensofsilence on Feb 6, 2010 6:55 PM CST up reply actions

In looking at our schedule

There’s not a single game on there that you see and say “they’re going to lose that one” outside of probably @KSU. Every single one of the last 7 is winnable by any stretch of the imagination. Here’s my estimation of the easiness of our last 8, ranked from easiest to hardest:

ISU
CU
@ISU
@NU
UT – might even be higher
@Baylor
KU
@KSU

So to get to 10-6, the mark needed to not be sweating at all on Selection Sunday a finishing of the 6-0 sweep is necessary as well as picking up one of the bottom 4 games above. It’s a lot easier to say after a W, but I feel pretty good about hitting 22-9(10-6) going into the Big 12 tournament.
