Missouri Men's Basketball All-Time vs. Iowa State UPDATED!
After demolishing Colorado in Boulder the Tigers move back to the home court on Wednesday night and take on the Iowa State Cyclones. After the 'clones took KSU to the limit in Hilton, Mizzou should expect a similar performance on Wed. in Mizzou Arena. (Boy I hate it when I am right on these things)
The series against ISU is about as old as Mizzou has been playing Basketball (the series started in 1909). This is the MOST lopsided series for Mizzou against any of our old Big 8 opponents. At home, Missou has ruled to the tune of a 61 game advantage (82-21), on the road Mizzou only trails by 10 in Ames.
But, as with most of our games against ISU, Mizzou MUST have consistency to win.

Wow...Quin Snyder was 6-9 versus ISU...
…wouldn’t have guessed that. I guess that does include the Eustachy Era and Quin’s collapse, but still…

112-109? 4 OT?
Anyone care to share more about this game? This was before my Mizzou fandom began.
"No regrets, that's my motto. That, and everybody wang chung tonight."
It. Was. EHHHHHHHHHHHHPIC.

Highlights:
- Clarence going for 40+, but fans spending half of the overtime periods screaming for him to be taken out of the game because he wouldn’t stop shooting.
- Mizzou scoring 112 with only THREE players in double figures.
- Brian Grawer almost making an 80-footer at the buzzer of one of the OT periods…coming up about 6-12 inches short.
- Missouri losing the next three games with dead legs (and brains).

I was an Usher at the Hearnes for that game...
It was sheer pandemonium (sp?). I had to keep people back against the walls…CRAZY game!
There is a God and I'm not it, after that EVERYTHING is subjective. Be careful for what you wish for, you just might GET IT!
That Columbia game in 2007
was the beginning of the Tom O’Neill Hate Brigade for me. He didn’t see the timeout call because he was looking at McDermott, and he didn’t call a foul because McDermott told them they weren’t going to try to foul the ballhandler.
I don’t know why I don’t remember much about the double OT game from 2008, though.

I hope you all are enjoying these...
and will keep them up. Hopefully you all get as much out of them as I did putting them together.
