Count the Pac-10 into the expansion race

PrintNow, the speculation can begin anew: the Pac-10 has entered the expansion race.
So, it becomes a question of how do the potential dominoes fall now?
It seems to me that the Big 12 North, in particular, is one of the targets for both conferences: Our beloved Mizzou is playing footsie with the Big Ten, and rumor has it that Colorado would have to be involved in the discussion for the Pac-10 (along with Utah and BYU).
One possible scenario for the Big 12 would be if Mizzou went to the Big Ten and CU moved to the Pac-10 would be to bring BYU and TCU from the MWC and radically realign the conference. If only one of the schools leaves, then I think TCU would be the preference for some folks over BYU, although Utah is a fast growing state and would be a ripe new territory for the conference.
It's all speculation at this point, but I would say that all signs are pointing towards a changing landscape in the Big 6 in the next 12-18 months.

If the Pac-10 does take CU and Utah…We will HAVE to get a Big 10 invite. The Big XII is about to go down in flames….
