The Texas Tech band is nowhere to be found.

Luckily the Tech pom squad is here to keep us company on this end of the floor.

rooting for the dark side?

should we be doing it? I think the only way we are on the outside looking in is if somebody like Nebraska or Tech wins the tourney. Should we root for kU? I know you shouldn’t cut your nose off to spite your face, but what if you really really hate your nose?

And as much as I love using Darko as a punchline, he’s been crucial for Tech so far.

KU pulls out a run, Pat Knight get’s T’d for coming on to the court and yelling “That’s Bullshit!” at the officials, and the momentum is officially swung.

There was a player for Memphis who flushed a jam so purely (and he was so high) that it bounced off his chest before completely going through the net, bounced back up through the hoop and out. Upon further review: No bucket.

Are you talking about when the lowly 49ers that year knocked off the Broncos to make them 8-8 and out of the playoffs?

If so, if was painful to watch them win. A couple years before that the Cardinals had killed Vikings playoff hopes when they sucked, then the 40 Whiners did it, but the Rams never get to play spoiler (although I’d prefer to be the team in the playoffs).

Also, if I remember correctly that night a few Broncos went to a night club and Darrent Williams was shot in a tragic incident. Kind of added insult to injury (except it was injury added to insult).
