I don't want to oversell anything...
…but I am pleasantly surprised at how much there is to make fun of about Clemson.

"You just got Chase Coffmaned"
Potential here. Definite potential.

better
On the last play of the possession, Jackson grabbed a tunnel screen and was instantly walloped with the loudest tackle of the day. Now that Sean Weatherspoon’s no longer around, I didn’t even have to look up to know who made the hit. It was obvious by the sound alone. He was Ebnered.

I offically feel bad for Iowa St.
My god, can McDermott catch a break?

Talk about abandoning ship.
Gilstrap, you had to figure, was gone due to the eligibility thing.
I’ve suspected for a while that Brackins would bolt; no upside to staying.
But the Hamilton and Buckley transfers are just kicks in the groin. Iowa State will enter 2010-11 with three returning big men: LaRon Dendy (7.2ppg, 3.6rpg in 16.2 min/gm), L.A. Pomlee (0.9 ppg, 1.1 rpg in 4.0 min/gm) and Alex Dorr (0.6ppg, 0.5rpg in 2.4 min/gm).
Ahem.

Yeah, just brutal.
Gotta figure if he weren’t an Iowa boy, he’d probably get dumped, but he’ll get another year … and then get dumped. Just nothing to work with there at all.
