ESPN is hard to figure out
I had already made a bracket, so when I joined it just took that bracket into the Rock M one. Then I changed my bracket and now I have two enteries into the Rock M one

The bracket that is currently submitted is my first blush bracket. I might change it as I do research and write some previews this week.
Suffice to say, I have 3 #1 seeds and Baylor in my Final Four, with Kentucky winning it all.
Yeah, that won’t stay that way.

I have that too.
I just think that bracket is really weak, and I see Duke going down if they have any mediocre shooting games.
My first thought when brackets came out was that Baylor had a great shot at the final four. I ended up putting them there, and I thought I’d be one of the few to do it. However it sounds like about everyone is putting them there. I hate going with the bandwagon like this.

I always try to pick the best bracket but seeing them there in the championship slot makes me sick.

I'm looking at them versus Kentucky and I honestly can't envision them winning.
Kansas lost when Tennessee hit half of their threes and lost to a team in OSU 60% from the field and hit over half their threes. No team would win those games.
Kentucky, on the other hand, lost to a bad-shooting bad South Carolina team and Tennessee when UT shot 47% but only 24% from three.
And if you look at records vs RPI top 50, Kansas is a no brainer to win but I hate that.

Last year I guaranteed two games
that MU will win and the Tigers will win. I am sure you know which two games I am talking about.

Haven't really dug into it yet
But just looking at Ken Pom’s numbers anybody think A&M is in trouble with Utah St? A&M is 23 and Utah State is sitting at 20.

I struggled more with the A&M USU game than any other game.
Also, Marquette v. Washington, and Minnesota v. Xavier both gave me fits.

Wow, I first went with my gut feeling.
Then really dug into the stats and had A&M in the final four, but forgot to look at their RPI numbers. Now, after looking through their numbers I redid their matchup with Duke, ended up Duke won and then I had Baylor knocking off Duke. I also rethought that KSU Syracuse game, which I had redone in KSU’s favor. And now, I switched that back while making some more tweaks to my 2/3 matchups..
AND NOW I ENDED UP WITH THE SAME EXACT BRACKET AS I HAD WHEN I WENT WITH MY GUT FEELING AFTER DOING RESEARCH AND MAKING MORE-EDUCATED GUESSES
God, what a waste of the past two days.

Yeah, I'm done with changing my bracket.
My gut feeling and my brain has the bracket done, the only reason I even went so far with this bracket is because I entered a money bracket with one of my friends from school and everybody else in it is his relatives from Ohio with a few other kids I knew so I really want to win, take the money, and laugh in the face of all the Ohio State/Dayton (depends on who is playing best) fans over there that love their Big 10/A-10.

I felt dirty picking kansas just now
But as the old saying goes, “Money talks, Bullshit walks.” And I’m gunna look great walkin aroung in my RMN shirt, haha.
And I gotta ask,
Who is going by the moniker “Buck Grimm” again. I only ask because Derek is my cousin and we are both curious.
I had Kansas originally winning it all.
But if I made money (or the RMN shirt in this bracket) off of Kansas winning a tainted national title, that would be completely contradictory to everything that I stand for. I ended up having Ohio State beat them and eventually winning the title.

No time for me to fill out a bracket as we take our spring break college tour of Virginia and the Carolinas. And before you ask, no, Mizzou is not an option, as my daughter has zero interest in attending a large state school.
