Criminey I actually heard Beaker Bob Fescoe call Xavier “ZaVeAh” today in reference to the freaking school. I get it that the Henry kid pronounces it differently but to apply it to all Xavier’s is freaking crazy.

I love Kansas City so much but I am dreading the next three weeks (or alternately loving it as Kim English’s bracket comes to life and we win six games!).

strange…first public university west of the Mississippi, first Journalism school, inventor of homecoming, and one of the most photographed/storied quads of any university…

And if we win today, may I use it as my sig?

Going to have to do really well today to stay alive.

A dutch coworker whose never seen a basketball game, for the heck of it filled one out and picked Vanderbilt because they had a dutch sounding name. He wasnt happy earlier when we told him he was out.

That’s where we’ve been best, we beat Illinois, Chattanooga, and Tech, but lost to OU. We also wore it against Memphis and UCONN last year so it must be pretty good luck. As I said, black jerseys have been okay to us and white has also been okay. I’d prefer the old gold.

My boss is doing everything in his power to prevent me from doing the same. First he moved our regular group meeting to today at 3:00, then at 12:30 he comes to me with something that has to be done RIGHT NOW, and now I’ve been waiting 30 minutes while he finishes a phone call. Aren’t there laws against this type of workplace abuse?

I have this funny feeling, however, that the Austin Torros will need to start their coaching search soon.

Classes will always be there, but a Mizzou game is not a thing to be taken for granted, Plus the tourney comes but once a year.
