Ess Eee See Brains?
I guess not only does Team Speed Kill opponents, it kills brain cells as well.
TSK has a somewhat interesting post about teams' records in their home states during March Madness. Problem is, they make a pretty big error in the third graf (or the first graf of analysis, about the Final Four):
Only one team has ever played in the Final Four in its home state: 1994 Duke, which beat Florida but lost to Arkansas in Charlotte.
While I'm sure Tom Izzo would love to forget it, I'm not sure if he would agree with that assessment.
I'm not yet a member of TSK, so I can't comment to make the correction. Just thought I'd point it out with another reason why, although most of SB Nation does a great job of analysis and contribution, nothing beats the Rock M.

Thanks for the correction
25 years is a lot to go through without anything fancier to work with than a browser and Excel. I had a feeling there was a mistake or two in there.

I should probably point out...
…that I make at least one mistake per Study Hall/Know Your Rival post, so while the sentiment is certainly appreciated, we’re far from perfect around here too. I just usually get a chance to correct mistakes before too many people see them. :-)

We should start making a game of it.
See who catches Bill’s mistake first!
Mike doesn’t want that. He doesn’t need to go out and sign a bunch of McDonald’s All-Americans. He just needs to go find a few Burger King-type guys and he’ll get it done.

Thanks
I hope you understand that my post wasn’t mean as a slam at you personally, but at your conference, and everything about it. :)
It’s okay. I get it. We’re an obnoxious bunch. However, that obnoxiousness is what perpetuates the “SEC is the Best” idea even through down years, which then allows it to get the benefit of the doubt in regards to the national title game (LSU’s leap from 7 to 2 in the last poll of 2007 being the best example). It’s annoying, but it has its purpose whether the agitators fully recognize what they’re doing or not.

I average
3 errors per post, I can’t imagine how many I’d have as an author.
