Samhan is legit, and they have plenty of 3 point snipers. They’re like a West Coast/ Australian version of Northern Iowa. Picking them over Richmond wasn’t hard for me. I guess I’d like Villanova to win for the sake of my bracket, but still.

St. Marys got the lucky draw though playing by far the weakest two seed
I actually think mizzou would beat villanova more times than not. Not so much with WVU

but there is an enormous Valero refinery on the southern half of the island.
Other than that, it’s ridiculously beautiful down there.

Villanova is no good and got overseeded due to conference, just like G'town.
Those two teams are really being exposed as not so good.

And have losses to San Fran and Loyola Maramount. That is not the resume of a 6 seed.

What about Butler though?
In their noncon season they lost to Minnesota, Clemson, UAB and Georgetown. Their only “good” win was Ohio State, which was at home and when Evan Turner was out with the injury, and they still only won by 8. Sure they went undefeated through their conference, but I don’t think that deserves a 5 seed

They didn't have the awful losses.
When Mizzou lost to Nebraska it dropped us probably 2 seed points. If Gonzaga beat SF and LM, they would have been a 5 or 6.

I've always enjoyed SMC's style...
…back when we were looking for a new coach, I was telling all my friends that I’d love for Randy Bennett to get a look. Clearly a) he was never an option and b) we made, uh, a pretty good choice, but I’ve always really enjoyed his and his team’s style.

I think k-state have gotten over it.
They certainly have ended up in good shape. A coach that is certainly high quality, if not as good as the one they lost AND one that isn’t nearly as slimy and as likely to get them on probation.

I don't think it helped much. That pass was going to be controlled my Nova anyway,
they would have been able to reset the offense and probably get points anyway, possibly get an open look for three.

Yes. I usually root for upsets and against the Big East but I like Villanova.
They were tough last year in their Final Four run and I admire that and I especially like Scotty Reynolds coming back for his senior season.
Also, having them win in my bracket doesn’t hurt either.

My mom is from Japan
And my dad was American-Irish, though his mother and grandfather (on the other side) were born in Ireland.
And yes, Dad was a navy man and met my mom while in Japan. It’s not terribly rare, but I’ve never met anyone else with the mix and I rarely meet any half-Asian people at all. Granted, I live in the Midwest.

but I’ve actually been there. Apparently Washington Corridor and Upper Kirby have fun nightlife, if that’s what your looking for. Also, if you’re still in the basketball mode, Rockets tickets are relatively easy to come across, from my understanding. If that doesn’t work, just drive to Fort Worth and I can tell you exactly what to do for fun.

You can hit a pop-up to left field and it’s a home run, you can hit a 3-foot line drive to right field and it could be a home run, but then if you hit the ball 410 feet to center field it’s just a double. There’s also a random hill in center field with a POLE IN PLAY.

for all you folks in mo worried about the weather
you’ll be fine in a day or 2. you guys are usually about 2 days behind our weather so here’s the timeline:
thursday pm: 70 and sunny
friday pm: 25 and 8 inches of snow
sat pm: 50+ and i can see the grass in my backyard already
I've got about 4-5 inches on the ground right now.

I have good advice.
Try to get all your pitchers early, preferably start off with 5 straight pitchers, ending with Vincente Padilla. Then, get 4 catchers and then finally get who you want. Then trade some of the catchers and pitchers for batters and position players.

Apparently WVU players are less than impressed with Mizzou,
and have been making comments aluding to the fact that they have an easy game tomorrow and can score at will against Mizzou. I think this works PERFECTLY into our trap. They might want to ask Memphis how that mentality worked, or any Bob Huggins-coached team for that matter.

I think kU is actually underrated as the #1 team in the country
Xavier Henry was the #1 recruit in the country and he isn’t even the focus on the team! UNI can’t possibly beat that kind of team.
