In the little bit of Cornell I've gotten to see this tournament...

our basketball team has such great sportsmanship
it was pretty easy to tell with the chest thumping on WV that they were probably very big headed. i would hate watching a team like that. I’m so proud to be a fan of these great players and more importantly great people.

It's just a disappointing ending because we could have easily won this game and been in the

I did like the intensity that we had and unlike KU, our loss had nothing to do with a lack of heart

Absolutely no shame in losing to West Virginia
they have loads of talent and I think will challenge, if not beat, Kentucky in the elite 8. Both of those teams cold be/have been championship game participants if they were on the other side of the bracket.

OK, a summation of my feelings.
In one way, I’m really sad that it ended this way. I’m upset because I’m not totally Missouri isn’t better than West Virginia. Missouri didn’t get the rolls, and didn’t get the breaks. That’s frustrating to say the least, and hair-pulling maddening to say the most.
In another way, this is exactly how I wanted Missouri to lose. The Tigers played their game — hard nosed, hustling, workmanlike — and came within a few rolls of beating one of the best teams in the nation (depending on whom you ask).
So, I’m torn. But the only thing I’m totally sure of is that next season, I’m going to wear my black and gold (with black headband and all) and yell myself hoarse again.
Partly because I’m a dork. Partly because it makes my girlfriend roll her eyes. And partly because I’m a damn proud Missouri Tiger.

The best bet is English, but he A) adores Mizzou and B) would be a late second-rounder at best, in my estimation.

English and Denmon pros? If they can get more consistent shooting then yeah.
I think Dixon could, but I’m not sure. I haven’t seen enough of Pressey or Mitchell to really gauge if they can go to the NBA. Somebody who I think might have a chance to go pro is Bowers. Demarre Carroll was never thought of as a pro when he transferred from Vanderbilt, but after one good season and then one amazing season as a senior, he’s now in the NBA.

I'd think Bowers probably has the best chance in the NBA
He’s long and athletic which the NBA loves and he seems to have a decent looking shot when he takes the initiative. He’d need to put on a good amount of muscle but he has the most NBA transferable talent at 6’8 with hops. Maybe Dixon given his speed and seeming ability to finish in traffic. Either way, no one on the roster now is NBA-good enough to warrant coming out early anyway IMO. Denmon not athletic enough to be an undersized NBA #2 and English can’t handle the ball to offset inconsistent-to-say-the-least shooting. This isn’t saying they aren’t good in college or even Senior year draft picks, but they aren’t top-15 picks that leave early.
Hopefully Mitchell changes all that…..but for some reason still stays 4 years.

English could develop into a pro prospect
but right now, Mitchell is the most talked about prospect from Mizzou, and he has yet to suit up.

Start getting assists, a few rebounds, maybe a steal or two, and now we’re talking
