After the season, [Justin] Britt (6-5, 300) moved from left tackle to guard and now considers the spring his chance to audition for a starting job, even when Wuebbels fully recovers.
“Nothing against Austin, because we’re good friends,” Britt said, “but it gives me an opportunity to shine and show them I can do it and maybe get some rotation time with Austin.”
There’s a battle brewing at right guard, too. Junior Jayson Palmgren opened the spring as the top choice to replace three-year starter Kurtis Gregory, but the depth reshuffled after Saturday’s scrimmage, leaving sophomore Travis Ruth as the top guard on the right side. Ruth (6-3, 305) has been a backup guard and center the last two seasons.

From the Trib article:
"It’s always so difficult because everything on the O-line is such a learned skill," Walker said. "When you’re 9 years old, you can throw a ball and play catch. But, you know, you don’t get a blocking sled for Christmas."
Sounds like a new gift idea for future baby RPT.
Yes!
It works for sons or daughters too! Because I bet you could find a pink one.
