But when he played Nova, I couldn’t help but think that he’d be (easily) on of the two best bigs in the Big East (with Monroe—G’Town).
You can tell he’s not used to being crowded like he’s being crowded tonight, and he has to bring it at both ends.

…if he has a world-class point guard, he’s a world-class coach. Otherwise, his teams tend to underachieve their recruiting rankings. (I guess that really goes for just about anybody…but these two in particular, it seems).
And that said…I don’t think they’re going to have a world-class point guard next year, so…yeah.

Not much better place to put this...
and I saw most of the games tonight waiting for a table at Flatbranch… but what I particularly remember is the distinct lack of timeouts (save for I think one…) in the last 1.5 minutes in the Ohio State/Tennessee game. Two coaches who coached their teams to the point that they trusted them inside that last minute. . . it was cool.
Oh… and try the Baltic Porter, if you haven’t. Yum.

Prince was impressive as hell in that game.
Gotta love the versatile leftys…a guy like that would fit nicely in Mizzou’s system.
