Has a karma change thread ever worked?

Maybe this game last year is the only one?

Can one of these guys bring

the hustle of DeMarre Carroll ?
The ghost of Goose?

Let’s go Tigers!!!!!

Mike doesn’t want that. He doesn’t need to go out and sign a bunch of McDonald’s All-Americans. He just needs to go find a few Burger King-type guys and he’ll get it done.

List of Positives...

1. Aldrich has been a non factor.
2. 1-11 from three cannot be sustained. Law of averages means we shoot 60% this half…
3. Party Starter has been GREAT.
4. I’m REALLY drunk at 2 PM

First half shooting...

Kansas

2-pointers: 14-for-27 (51.9% … not great, not terrible)
3-pointers: 3-for-7 (42.9%)

Missouri

2-pointers: 10-for-21 (47.6%)
3-pointers: 1-for-11 (9.1%)

Maybe three of those 3’s were stupid shots (including both of Ramsey’s), but otherwise? Decent looks. HAVE to make half of your decent looks.

Referees: It could be worse

I’m watching Arizona vs. USC.

A referee allowed continuation on a jump shot.

Wow.

Now that’s bad.

I had a cigarette outside, which was nice. Then I took a huge dump, which was nice. Then I had some Prop 215 (if you don’t know what that means, look it up), which was nice. Now, I’m turning on the softball game, where the ladies put 7 on the board in the 1st inning, which is nice.

Now, back to this game….which isn’t so nice….

by CPC on Mar 6, 2010 2:09 PM CST reply actions

If Syracuse is the overall #1

Do they go to Houston or St. Louis? St. Louis is closer I would imagine, or does the committee figure the difference between St. Louis and SLC is negligible and ship the overall #1 across the country due to the lack of a 1 seed out west?

Google wants to wire an entire city

for Gigabit internet. Good idea…great for businesses that have multiple locations in whatever city they choose…but it’s not going to really provide much of a difference to everyday users…yet. But, it’s a step in the right direction….

by CPC on Mar 6, 2010 2:20 PM CST up reply actions

yeah, I thought Verizon was doing something similar

although its striking to realize how far behind the US is in this kind of stuff. You can already get that kind of connection in many parts of the world for peanuts, but we are dealing with old infrastructure

by mattyp on Mar 6, 2010 2:23 PM CST up reply actions

Yes, Verizon offers FIOS

The thing is, if RockMNation were on a server with a slower connection, say, 50Mb/s service, then users in that city aren’t going to have “true” Gigabit internet, because they still have to download the webpage at 50Mb/s…regardless of what they have locally.

In soccer, when a player gets hurt

they play on…until the ball is kicked out of bounds. It is common for a team that has the ball to continue play against an understrength opponent if they’re in a good offensive position. However, most of the time, they kick it out of bounds as a courtesy to the injured player.

Mizzou Softball run-rules SEMO 13-0

7 in the 1st inning and 6 in the 5th….

Just a kick in the nuts...

Besides Iowa State, Kansas biggest road win in the big 12 has been by 6 at this point.

Unfortunately

nobody gets the effort from the best team in the league like we do.

KU will be number 1 again

Louisville up 14 over the Cuse with not much time left

Yeah...

Sherron Collins: 5 stars
Cole Aldrich: 4 stars
Xavier Henry: 5 stars
Marcus Morris: 4 stars
Markieff Morris: 4 stars
Tyshawn Taylor: 4 stars
Tyrel Reed: 3 stars
Brady Morningstar: 3 stars
Thomas Robinson: 4 stars
Elijah Johnson (who doesn’t play): 5 stars

I mean, I knew they recruited well, but I just never thought about adding it all together.

I was at the game at vandy

I have watched the two games against KU, but we are so young, I mean, our guys just don’t have the experience that KU has. Yeah we went elite eight last year, but our leaders left, and really have no bigs, so when we go cold it kills us.

This is the bitter Mizzou fan in me

but Kentucky is better than kansas, and when kansas isn’t giving their 100% effort they can very easily get beat by the right 8/9 seed.

I know both of those points are totally unrelated, but I don’t care.

by shaffe on Mar 6, 2010 2:58 PM CST reply actions

ur crazy

they lost one in the Big 12 ’
kentucky lost 2 in the SEC

Big 12 > SEC

by stlcardsfan4 on Mar 6, 2010 3:00 PM CST up reply actions

i disagree

we just need to start admitting that kansas is good. really good. really really really good.

by stlcardinalsfang on Mar 6, 2010 3:00 PM CST up reply actions

they are rele good

they are easily the best team in the nation
beside… 2 20 point victories over us.. wouldn’t that make u wanna have them as the best team?

by stlcardsfan4 on Mar 6, 2010 3:02 PM CST up reply actions

not right now I don't

not to be an ass, I’m just bitter.

And they are better this year, but Mizzou will have it’s time in the sun the next 2 years.

in the state of missouri for the 2011 football class here today. Not good.
