Two Tigers will transfer
PowerMizzou is reporting that, to no one's surprise, the athletic department has announced that Miguel Paul and Tyler Stone intend to transfer at the end of the semester.
I can't say enough how fantastic it is to see everyone parting on seemingly great terms. We've seen ugly splits before, but Miggy and Stone appear to be very complimentary of their time at Mizzou, and we can only hope Mizzou fans will support them in their future endeavors.

Good luck to them both

Seconded.
I’m sad to see Miguel go. I’ve always liked him as a player, he always seemed like he was just on the brink of really figuring it out. That said, I’m not at all surprised – all these highly-touted recruits coming, i suspect it wasn’t hard to see the writing on the wall. Wish him all the best.
Making fun of the "Mizzou Needs a Fullback" Club since...well, for a while, anyway.
Wish them both the best
Anybody hear where they might end up?
Seems like MP3 might go closer to home.

I wouldn't be surprised if he wanted to play for Coach Thomas down there.
Good coach, good school (except when they get in fights on the football field), and it’s close to home for him, which I think was something that he wanted.
"And on the first day of Spring, number one has fallen."
Good coach?
Has he EVER proven that he’s a good coach?

I would say no
He was laughable with the Knicks

As an excuse, I was barely alive during his playing career with the Pistons.
I thought that he had coached there before, my bad.

Yeesh . . .
I remember the night Isiah won the national championship as a player. I’m fairly certain that it was the same night that President Reagan was shot. For the young folks, Ronald Reagan was the president between McKinley and Taft.

The breakdown of how our readership views this:
33 percent think all of this is hilarious.
33 percent think all of this is true.
33 percent think you’re serious and/or an idiot.
1 percent doesn’t speak English.

Saying that Isaiah Thomas is a good coach is like saying Bobby Petrino is loyal.

That's not fair.
Bobby Petrino has been faithful to his bank account for the better part of 15 years.
I'll allow it.

I've said this ad nauseum ...
… I really like Stone’s potential and I’m sorry to see him go. But it’s also easy to see that he’s potentially got no spot as HCMA is recruiting over top of him. Good luck to both Stone and Paul. Thanks for your contributions!
Was once caught putting at night ... with the 15-year old daughter of the dean
Though I sometimes face-palmed during MP3's play...
His game and effort really grew on me this past season. His hustle fit greatly into CMA’s style of play.
"So we finish the 18th and he's gonna stiff me. And I say, 'Hey, Lama, hey, how about a little something, you know, for the effort, you know".
I'm really going to miss Blike and Stonewall Tyler.
Miguel had some real moments of promise, especially vs Nebraska and @KSU in that first half where Hustle and Flow were in foul trouble. I hope he goes on to do great things, where he may be.
As for Stonewall Tyler, you had a nice dunk against Oregon (I think it was against Oregon, at least). I was hoping to see more of you in the future and I’m really sad that things didn’t work out.
And, as I said before, I’m now going to stop making up nicknames because I’ve made my own nicknames for these two guys and “Eah Keah Keon” Lawrence, all of whom transferred away.
"And on the first day of Spring, number one has fallen."
Where do you get these nicknames from?
"So we finish the 18th and he's gonna stiff me. And I say, 'Hey, Lama, hey, how about a little something, you know, for the effort, you know".
Stonewall Tyler is kind of like Stonewall Jackson, but with Tyler.
“Blike” is an inside joke that only my family would understand.
And I think of them just on the spot. For example, against Oregon, Stone came down with a slam and I screamed to my dad, “That’s Stonewall Tyler, right there.” The name stuck.
"And on the first day of Spring, number one has fallen."
Yeah, I mean it stuck in my head and I kept calling him that.
"And on the first day of Spring, number one has fallen."
So what you're saying is
YOU make up nicknames = player transfers
3 for 3 so far
don’t make one up for Kim English :)

Yep, I'm stopping now.
Except for Stoggles. I am totally keeping the name Stoggles (for Steve with his goggles).
"And on the first day of Spring, number one has fallen."
This just in: Steve Moore wants to transfer...
after hearing this nickname.
"So we finish the 18th and he's gonna stiff me. And I say, 'Hey, Lama, hey, how about a little something, you know, for the effort, you know".
Fun
Ok, StopSpe Stoggles will stay. Unless he leaves, then I am not sure how this will go down.

Both kids have a future . . .
but this gives Dixon more playing time at the one position, M. Pressey covers Denman well at the two, and Stone was simply not going to get any playing time with Ratliffe and Mitchell coming in. Two years under CMA has to be a great resume going to just about any program for Paul, and Stone still has three years eligibility to offer.
