No diatribe this morning. Just really curious about what the Big East has in mind ... and what exactly is going to happen if the Big 12 meets this weekend (as planned) and actually decides to try to stick together. I'm not sure that will actually happen, but it's a curiosity...

If Mizzou doesn't get a bid...

still sounds like UT and A&M really don’t want to go to the Pac 10. After yesterday, Brown, Dodds and Byrne still would like to keep the gang together. Mizzou may be OK.

If that's true...

…then this would be a good time for everyone to stand down and start working together. With Nebraska and Colorado pulling the trigger, maybe this is the wakeup call the remaining schools needed to see how weak the league is. If instead Texas is just going to go on a revenge tour against its enemies in the conference, then I don’t see the benefit to Mizzou to stay.
