One night might feature a live basketball telecast from Mizzou Arena, a studio-produced postgame show and a replay of the football team’s 2007 win over Kansas. The next: a live volleyball match, a tape-delayed soccer game and the Gary Pinkel Show.
Call it the Tigers Sports Network — a channel devoted around the clock to all things MU.
Last week, after the Big 12 was saved, University of Missouri system President Gary Forsee publicly asked, "Why shouldn’t there be a Mizzou network?" Since then, MU officials have met to discuss new ways to deliver athletic programming to fans.
Their most ambitious idea is a 24-hour sports network filled with live games, archived footage and studio shows.
Via The Trib, Mizzou ponders its own network.
I'm telling you: if this happens, do NOT forget the Rock M Power Hour on Sunday nights.

This Power Hour will include the following segments right?
“A Bunch of Numbers with Bill C”
and/or
“Zou Dave’s Sister’s Atomic Advice”

Don't forget "ghtd does something funny for the first couple of shows and then stops showing up."
I kid, of course. I always, however, look forward to more humorous postings from all contributors.
Making fun of the "Mizzou Needs a Fullback" Club since...well, for a while, anyway.

RMN Power Hour
Featuring Bill “Numbers Don’t Translate Well To Broadcast Television” Connelly and Ross “Face For Radio” RPT.
I smell a ratings bonanza.

I'll be the Andy Richter of RMN TV.
Take that how you will.

I would completely volunteer for the
Glenn Humplik role- provided I was given a complimentary RMN coffee mug to use in performance of said role.

Moller:
“I would caution from making it sound like that’s absolutely going to happen.”
That “I would caution” statement would have prevented A LOT of heartburn if school officials from athletic departments across the country had adopted it during realignment.
It would pretty much mean that we have no plans on the big ten for quite a long time.
Can’t imagine they would spend the money to make one, then ditch it a few years down the road when the big ten comes calling.

The English Hour
would be fantastic, when Kimmeh was on the radio hosting his own show last summer it was amazing. I think they only did one episode, but it was amazing.
You could also throw a couple hours of Zou Dave’s video’s on there. Maybe even do it Mystery Science Theater 3000 style and have people making fun of the music selections and making references to his sister.
I want this network thing to happen...
…just because they would be forced to dig deep into the archives for football/basketball games/footage. Which, among other things, could lead to an infinite number of new ZD videos.

In attempts to avoid snark
How about getting some Columbia and Stephen Colleges games on there. Good way to up the cred of the whole town, and those schools…
And for the snark, just a show that is Bill’s Excel File O’Stats. He points at numbers, attempting to actually interpret them, while Mrs. Bill C throws out jabs.

We can't handle numbers of that magnitude!

I'd be happy to play this roll on the network. . .

So maybe I won't submit . . .
that football preview mag piece.
And I get dibs on the Charlie Rose-style interview show.

Getting married (to an actually NICE girl, this time) in about 6 weeks
