For those interested in such a thing, here is another YouTube highlight video of one Mr. Tony Mitchell ... who, according to the person who posted the video, is now 6'10, which is a new one ... so, yeah ...

Nothing to do with nothing, but Roll Bama Roll took a look at the national title during the 'dual-poll' era, and it turned out quite interesting.
And for no real reason, I found this really cool...

That video is awesome.
Watching it makes me think Tony Mitchell is a lot the same kind of player that Demarre Carroll was. Obviously there are some differences (Mitchell’s already got a pretty shot from 3 range, for one), but he seems to handle the ball pretty well, and he played up high in a full court press.
I like it.
Making fun of the "Mizzou Needs a Fullback" Club since...well, for a while, anyway.
Texas-Nebraska is shaping up to be a landmine
The fanbase is putting way too much stock in this game. They’re going to force it to become one of the more important games in Husker history and that’s already filtering down to the team. I know Osbourne is trying to tamp down the “Kill Texas” talk (though I personally think he’s just playing Good Cop), but there’s just going to be too much pressure to win this game. If they lose, the could very easily go into a death spiral. If they win, they’ve already been looking past all of their other opponents and I think we already know how much stock Husker Nation puts into the thought of losing to Mizzou or K-State or (haha) Iowa State. I think the fanbase is really putting the team into an impossible situation and I think it’s going to take a Herculian effort for the Huskers to come out of this season unscathed.
I sincerely hope you're right

I agree
Admittedly, I despise Nub like no other football program (KU is only annoying anymore- maybe it is the cartoon character on their helmets now), but it is rare that the whole ‘oh, we don’t need to worry about anybody, we’re so damn good, everybody tells us so!’ approach ends in anything other than disaster.
I heard a radio interview yesterday where someone asked one of their players about ‘MU being seen as your biggest competitor in the North’ and they replied that they didn’t see anyone as a competitor, the only competition that they had was themselves- basically, if they lost, it would be because they did it to themselves. Really, really hope that arrogance and lack of respect for opponents (which I think is Bobo’s modus operandi) makes their farewell tour a nightmare.
C'mon, everyone knows Mitchell is 6'10"!
Just like Beasley was.

Tony Mitchell looked great.
Pretty impressive the way he drives the lane at that size. Any updates on his investigation?
