Bryce Brown leaves Tennessee should he come to Missouri?
I remember Bryce Brown was on Missouri's radar before he decided which school to go to. Now we know we have Washington, but would it be smart if Bryce Brown were to transfer to Mizzou to be a Tiger? Probably not realistic, but he did leave Tennessee today without talking to his Tennessee Coach. But he came into Tennessee thinking Lane Kiffin was his coach, and he just up and leaves the program for USC. So Bryce Brown does the same to Tennessee. So I was just thinking he should come to Missouri. We'll need a running back for the 2012-2013 seasons, and if he came to Mizzou I'm sure he'd have all sorts of packages for him to play even though Washington's the starter. He won't come to Mizzou, but wouldn't that be nice?

I don't see it happening
b/c his brother is at K-State and all signs seem to point to him heading there if he gets his act together and actually speaks to Derek Dooley and secures his release.
Considering the drama that surrounded him during his recruiting process, and the fact that he seems like something of a head case (or at the very least, lacking basic maturity and a good network around him) I’d be willing to take a pass.

Not to mention...
… Missouri doesn’t even have the depth chart space to offer the top running back in the state this year. With Murphy/Josey/White coming to campus, Mizzou isn’t exactly hurting for bodies at that position.

We're going after Kody Walker though
I think we should still go after Darrian Miller. That kid is a beast and if he ends up at Kansas he will tear us up.

He visited Mizzou during his recruitment...
…and there was no interest shown in either direction after his visit, I believe.

No.
Bryce doesn’t fit our system. He is more of a Pro-Formation back.
With everyone talking about James Wilder Jr.‘s recruitment and complaining he won’t come to Mizzou even though his dad was a stud in CoMo, he really doesn’t fit out system either from what I’ve seen. I could be entirely wrong, but I think GP’s first thought on recruitment is ‘Will he fit our spread system?’. He does a great job at getting kids that already know all or some of it. Gives him a leg up in recruiting and is part of the reason we’ve been able to have so many 3-4yr starters on both sides of the ball.
