This is at least mildly surprising, yes?
Looks like LDamian Washington ahead of Rolandis Woodland at #Mizzou’s X WR position
Per Matter’s Twitter.

PowerMizzou had been hinting that Ro had not looked very good in camp so far...
And the scrimmage probably did not help things.
Annoying You Since 1986
Lots of shuffling, according to Matter's Twitter...
Official depth still lists Woodland ahead of Washington at X WR, frosh Bud Sasser up to No 2 slot WR, #Mizzou
Wes Kemp listed as even with Jaleel Clark at Z WR position. #Mizzou shuffling up depth midway thru camp

By the way...
…just my opinion, but I assume the Clark-Kemp thing is as much about motivation as anything. I’m thinking Washington potentially moving ahead of Woodland is much more of a real development.

Yes...
I would be pretty surprised when conference season rolls around if JJ, Moe, Kemp, and Egnew aren’t the four starters with either Ladamian or Woodland out there on 5 reciever sets.
Annoying You Since 1986
At this exact moment in time...
…my rough stab at the WR hierarchy is this:
J. Jackson
Moe
Kemp
L. Washington
Hunt
Woodland
Stricker
Sasser
Clark
Lucas
Gerau
McGaffie
If I draw that up again an hour from now, it might completely change, of course. I think the top three are in one tier, Washington’s alone in the second tier, Hunt/Woodland/Stricker/Sasser/Clark/Lucas are in the third tier in some order, and Gerau/McGaffie are a step behind, but could easily get into the third tier with a good week of practice.

That's a pretty fair guess.
Wh would have thought before fall camp that Lucas was the most likely of the 3 recievers to redshirt.
Annoying You Since 1986
I think Sasser is a bit higher than that
although he technically is because of injuries, but I get the impression that he’s at the head of the pack for the Freshmen.

I don't know.
Matter and the DeArmonds have both stated that Hunt has been spectacular and definately looked the best of all the freshman.
Annoying You Since 1986
Hard to tell because Hunt's injured
but given the scrimmage results and what I’ve heard about Hunt’s inconsistency, my feeling is that Sasser would be higher on the pecking order.
What WR position was Hunt listed at on the last depth chart?

This is the first depth chart with the new freshman.
I believe before he went down, Hunt was getting more reps with the #2 unit than any of the other freshman. But really its just cutting straws. Just glad to see them stepping up.
Annoying You Since 1986
Given the importance of WR blocking
in our offense, I would be shocked if Kemp isn’t starting. As inconsistent as he was in receiving last year, he was a seemingly good and consistent downfield blocker.
I’m with you in the “motivation” camp on that move, no disrespect to Clark.
And Don't Forget that Kendial
Is officially second string now.

I'm guessing...
Reesing’s low point was being sacked in the endzone for a safety. No, I mean that literally was a low point, he was buried deeper than Jimmy Hoffa.
Entirely guessing on this one but....
I feel like I’ve read a few of the chapters of this book already.

Matter tells us
Jackson had surgery today on wrist, but timetable for return the same. can’t help but wonder why this wasn’t done Thursday, as I’d think it’s a bit premature for x-rays to show difference.
Jerrell’s gonna have fun getting through airport security now.
