So...is there an update? We've gone through 2 of our established advancing deadlines without advancing, and I believe we still have games to play.
I know there's been a problem getting people hooked up online, and I get that, but we need to identify who isn't responding to whom, who isn't taking an active role, and just remove them. It's nothing personal at all, it's just if you don't want play then don't hold everyone else up. It's totally fine if you're not into playing the game or whatever, just please let people know so we can remove you (or better yet, you can just remove yourself).
Does anyone know what we're still waiting on for sure? My last game was against Headicusprime on Saturday. It's now been a week since we moved forward. Hoping we can get this thing moved on Sunday regardless of what's left.

Looks like it was advanced this morning
But yeah, as I made clear in the other thread, I had no success in getting a game in with JeffLebowski or whatever. Didn’t respond to my message, didn’t accept my friend request, but he was online a few times.
And of course it was simmed and I lost.

I just beat #9 Miami 42-35...
I was down 35-7 in the first half, and we combined for 10 turnovers.
It was a stupid game.
Played them last week...
…slept walked through the first half. Scored 18 in the 4th to lose by 2 at home. Heart breaker, let me tell you. Had ’em on the ropes the entire second half. Game was finally over with :40 left.
On the bright side, tonight I put a hurtin’ on UNC. #16 my ass!

consider it revenge for Mizzou.
I was actually down 5-3 early in the 2nd quarter, after throwing a pass away while I was standing in the end zone so I was called for intentional grounding and they got a safety. After that, the offense (read: QB Andy Dalton) took over.
52-12, and their TD was a garbage TD in the 4th where I had blitzed 6 and they picked it up, a receiver got deep and I couldn’t catch him. Had 39 rushes between my QB and top 2 RBs, with 6 TDs on the ground thrown in. Dalton didn’t do much through the air, but he made it count. Completed 2 of 6 passes, 1 of which was a 70-ish yard TD to a receiver. They bit on play-action, Johnson was a good 5 steps beyond the corner and there was no safety help.
Got VA Tech and Maryland before my showdown with Iowa in Week 10.

I’m in the middle of changing jobs and moving right now so things got a little crazy this week.
I don’t think Minnesota’s player has been around for any games outside of the first one. I’m not sure why that is.
Yes people can join the league any time they want and I encourage that.
I promise I’ll be more on top of things as far as updates and advancing the league. Again, really sorry I was lagging this week.
That said, I too need to play Tennessee today. Hopefully, I can pester him online via here and on the Xbox to get a game going.
And Dear God, ZouDave is a force to be reckoned with. I swear he held a mortgage in my head. Every time I tried to do anything he had the perfect defense against it. Was brutal.

I still have serious doubts about my ability. Just last night started year 2 of a solo dynasty with Mizzou and lost in 3OT to Illinois. And my game against Stanford with TCU where I won 20-16 with a 17-point 4th quarter.
I think I just had the right luck against you and like sundevil said, I had the right defense called against him on every play. I feel like all of my wins could vanish in a snap.
Or maybe I’m just underconfident, if there is such a thing.
You can delete tamnco.
He sold his xbox so he won’t be playing. I don’t know if you can change the owner in the middle of the season but something needs to be done with his team.

I’ll put his team on auto this morning. Had a really rough night so I’ll advance the week when I get home from work.

what about getting that other guy to drop Oregon State and take over one of the teams in the ACC? We’d all moved our teams into one conference for a reason, but I think that was before this guy knew about our deal. Dropping Oregon State to take over Tennessee wouldn’t be a terrible fate and would put him in our conference.

I control the Oregon State team. Didn’t realize we were picking everyone to be in the same conference. Anyway you can move my team to a new conference? Don’t know if thats possible. And I’m down to switch but is there another spot open other than Tennessee?
can't move teams once the dynasty started
it’s not really a big deal, just wondering. The rest of us are going to all face each other at some point for the most part, but you’re off by yourself. Figured you’d want in on the action.

it doesn’t have to happen, and doesn’t have to be Tennessee. Was just suggesting that as they’d probably be the closest in caliber to Oregon State.

I just played a game with them and their defense and running backs are good enough for me. Plus they’re still undefeated just like my OSU team.

Iowa is a really good team and I haven’t really got used to this new game. I haven’t played NCAA since like 04 as you could tell.

i have absolutely no ability to force turnovers against real people
also i had at least 50% of my recruiting board visiting this game, so hopefully i didnt scare them all off with my horribleness.
another good game though
no cheesing or anything. seems like the guys we’ve got that actually play are all good and a lot of fun to play with. hopefully we can fill out the league with 12 guys like that. good game solidpit

Basically my gameplan is to get an early lead
go to conservative and run the ball and play defense. But in my Mizzou dynasty it’s passing all over.

yeah its kinda funny
That game went by pretty quick, but my Mizzou dynasties take FOREVER because i run maybe 4 times a game.
also, i have no idea how you got that pick near the goal line on my first drive. i got past your first defender and i thought for sure i got the completion, but your safety came out of nowhere. i was amazed.

Man, I freaking tried to lose to VaTech
Was driving to go up 21-7, fumbled at the goalline and it got returned for a TD. That changed everything about the game, because I got the ball back but my offense was still exhausted so I couldn’t get moving and it just took me completely out of rhythm.
21-21 at the half, final score was 24-21. That was a VERY tense 2nd half. I couldn’t score, but fortunately neither could they.
Are we ready to advance?

Saturday I’m helping a friend move his mom in across Columbia during the day, then bbq in the evening. Late in the evening I can throw down on some ball. Hit me up!!
Or there is always tonight. I’m going to have a sit down with my boss, discuss the future of the business and have a drinky-poo or two. If I’m in shape to play I’m game. Won’t know until after I’m done…I’m a light weight to be sure. Haven’t had a drop of alcohol in over a year. Just not my thing.

I came back from being down 16 with 2:12 left in the 3rd Q
and won on a TD pass with 12 seconds left on 4th and 4 from the 6 yard line.

Great for you...
…not so much for me. Great game none-the-less. Just worked my way in to the top 25 and now I think I’m going to fall out. Almost beat the #5 team in the nation at home. At least my guys can play with anyone out there. We’ve always got a chance. Can’t wait to see you at home next year

I havent gotten a response yet...
so if you have to sim past it to advance be my guest. sucks that 2 of my 4 games w/real people so far had to be simmed, but hopefully after this year we can figure out who’s in every week and who isnt.
he also hasnt been on since august 23
so im not holding my breath
aaaand I lost my starting QB for the season in that simmed game
and got my butt kicked. good week!

Don't know who I play next...
…at this very moment. I’ve got Friday and Saturday to play our game…whoever you are. Of course I/we can’t/won’t play during the MU/Ill game. I can also play around 11:30pm tonight…maybe closer to midnight…if you’re interested.
