Thanks for putting this up
I hadn’t gone to look for it yet, but SportsCenter’s version of the highlight was “Chase Daniel looked real good in 3 quarters of action” with as much video as you see in this comment.

Man, Chase was nervous
He was speaking really quickly. At least the nervousness isn’t translating to the field.
Wow. I honestly never thought Chase would do as well in the NFL as he is.
Great Odin's Raven I love Mike "The Predator" Dixon!
It has a lot to do with the team he's on.
The Saints coaches know how to use short quarterbacks. They are really good at getting the best out of accurate, semi-mobile quarterbacks who maybe aren’t very tall.
"I turn around and I’ve got Cueto kicking me in the back with his spikes. It’s super unprofessional. I don’t know where he learned how to fight."
-Chris Carpenter commenting on a bench-clearing fight with the Reds, 8/10/10
To be fair:
Chase’s career NFL stat line:
0 GP, 0 GS, 0-for-0, 0 yards, 0 TD, 0 INT

Ever since 1971 my favorite NFL team . . .
. . . has been the Denver Broncos. During many of those years, we arguably had the best quarterback in the league (I’m sure Mr. Bill C will disagree with that, being a Marino fan) in a young man named John Elway. What many people don’t know is that we also had probably the best backup quarterback in the league for those same years in Gary Kubiak, who was drafted the same year as Elway, and who backed him up his entire career. When Kubiak was called on, he delivered – what more could you ask. Had he been on any other team, he may well have started and set some records of his own; we will never know. Now he is a head coach.
I acutally see the potential for a similar career for Daniel. You don’t have to be the out-front guy to be valuable to a team. The better he gets, the more valuable he becomes to a very good team. If called on, I have no doubt but what he will deliver; and if someday given a chance, he will, IMO, be as good in the NFL as he was in the NCAA. Regardless, I truly believe his greatest achievements will come in coaching – I only hope it is with the Broncos :-)

Sort of like what Chase Patton was for the Tigers?
He was a player who could have started for alot of teams and been successful. It was a luxury to have him backing up Daniel through Daniel’s carreer and I felt secure that he could have come in and lead the team if called on should Daniel have missed some time.
No doubt but what Patton is a quality young man . . .
. . . We may never know how good he could have been at football on either the college or pro level, but we can rest assured he has everything it takes to be a success in life. Maybe some day we will get to cheer for a Patton Junior.

Stayed up late to watch the game.
The game was televised at midnight last night on NFL Network. I was glad to have stayed up to watch it. Chase looked fantastic and I am really proud to see him make the most of his opportunity. His ability to lead his team down the field is still there. It reminded me of the Chase Daniel of 2007-08. He had solid command of that offense.
Even if he suffered the same fate as he did with those dasterdly Redskins, someone would surely pick him up. He looks more polished than several current starters on other teams.
