Glaser's father calls arrest "misunderstanding"
Looks like he tried to take care of the ticket, but there was some kind of snafu with a court clerk.

Police officers I have known . . .
. . . have a strong dislike for people who exhibit a sense of entitlement that supposedly puts them beyond normal enforcement of the law. Two subgroups of our society that have a high percentage of such individuals are politicians and athletes.
The first group can sometimes be quite dangerous, since they are often powerful, and can possibly do damage to an officer’s career; the second group is not at all dangerous, and is often a much easier target if a department or individual officer wishes to exert authority.
Both groups, unfortunately, exhibit high percentages of fondness for alcoholic beverages, which mixed with the sense of entitlement, often just makes matters worse.
The worst scenario is when, during a “general crackdown”, someone gets nailed while doing nothing more than trying to keep his record clear the way any “normal” citizen would.
This may not be the situation in Columbia right now, but the number of traffic-related arrests sure is interesting.
come on countrycal
no mention of booze or an attitude by Glaser. The cops screwed up. This will not stop until someone holds them responsible for their mistakes.
