Sean "Witherspoon" mentioned in TMQ
Under "Sweet and sour plays of the week", Sean is mentioned for getting beat by Lance Moore, though given credit for waving "help" before the play.

While his refusal to do research about the NFL or College teams and players he is paid to write about
annoys the hell out of me (to the point where he is no longer a must-read for me every week), he has several issues that he champions that I think are great.
1. Organized youth football shouldn’t start until 12 years old (in this week’s article), due to the increased liklihood of head, neck and spinal cord injuries for children under 12.
2. Refusing to punt. He has presented some pretty convincing evidence that in the NFL the average team would be much better off going for it on 4th and short, and actually, are often better off going for it even if 4th and long if the ball is across the 50.
3. Running the ball when leading late in the 4th quarter.
Agreed on all counts.

Oh, he had time,
since he spends about 15 seconds per team researching schedules (and 14 of those seconds are googling their schedule).
He just doesn’t care about college except the one time/year when he rags on the schedules.
His lack of research...
…was simply amazing back in ’08, with the whole “drag Mizzou through the mud for scheduling 8 home games without realizing that two of the games — both against BCS competition — are on neutral sites” thing. That was perhaps the least amount of research anybody had ever done on a rant topic, ever.

He did the same this year
Said that since Missouri played one of their neutral games IN Missouri (apparently, he didn’t do enough research to find out that KC is not in Kansas), they essentially had 7 home games.
He also bagged on Texas for having a “home game” against OU, just because the game is in Dallas (I think he also tried to imply that the Rice game (In Houston) was a de facto home game, since it was in Texas.
To be fair...
Houston IS a de facto home game for Texas.
