Rock M Dynasty Week 10
I haven't advanced the dynasty yet cause I really want to make sure Copper and ZouDave have a chance to play their game. At this point TCU vs Iowa easily looks like the best game all year. Two undefeated teams that have just throttled their opponents.
Once these two play their game, I'll advance the week and we'll move on. And speaking of moving on, holy crap I'm horrible with Georgia Tech. I feel like Paul Johnson is going to show up at my doorstep and punch me in the throat for making his offensive scheme look so horrible.
At least my recruiting is going well. How does everyone feel about the season so far?

Not great
But if I can get into a bowl game I’ll be happy. My starting QB is out for the year and I’m not really confident in either of my backups, so we’ll see. Also have to make sure Vereen sticks around for his senior year. That’s priority number one.
As for recruiting, it’s not amazing but not terrible. Landed six guys, all 3-stars. Two WRs, two T’s, an ATH and an OLB. Also got 3 soft commits who will hopefully stick (two QBs, and an ATH, all 3-stars) and a bunch of guys who have me as #1 on their list. It’d be nice to get a top-25 class and be more competitive next season.
Either way though, I’m having a lot of fun.
Sorry about this weekend Zoudave,
I wanted to play, I just never got a chance.
Making you feel old since 9/26/09
My two early turnovers pretty much doomed me
35-10 5 min left in 4th quarter

At least I got some practice at onside kicks.
42-24 TCU. I got a really good onside recovery and scored off of it late.

Good Game solidpit
like you said, those early turnovers were brutal. Amon G Carter stadium is an unfriendly environment, and my runners were running with authority in the 2nd half.
I'm wearing...
…nothing! No, not really…I’m wearing purple for your game against Iowa. I want a shot at a top 5 undefeated again. If I remember correctly you’re coming to my house for that game. Should be a good one. GO FROGS!

I would like to refute...
…the claim that both TCU and Iowa have throttled their opponents. I almost beat the 5th ranked Hawkeyes in their house. Wait until they come to Death Valley.
As for how things are going. This is ab-so-fucking-lutely wonderful! So very happy to have got in on this. I’m trying to talk a friend of mine into joining. What are the remaining teams?
My recruiting is shit. But I’ve only got three or four seniors. Bowl game bound for sure…but I can’t wait until next “year.”

aside from you, I've throttled my opponents
Everyone’s recruiting is going to be shit. We still haven’t updated with the new recruits yet. I did get 3 4* DTs last week though

I just figured it out...
…that was the hype machine running. Build-up to the big game and all. Sorry. That loss still hurts. It did knock me out of the top 25.

I haven't throttled my opponents...
but I’ve certainly shown a knack for winning close games. It probably has something to do with my starting running back being out and the fact that my QB is just god awful. But I have won the recruiting game so far. 2- five star commits and 4- four star recruits. Not to shabby for taking over the team after week 5.
Yo achillbreeze
Let me know when you want to play. I should be available most of tonight and tomorrow night after 5, so let me know.
Well...if you're available here shortly that would be ideal.
If not there are two time frames that will work for me tonight. Sometime around 6pm or sometime around 9pm.

I'm at work til 5ish
6 pm is possible and 9 pm is almost definite. I’ll pop on at those times and see if you’re around.
On...
…now. My plans changed and I should be on for a good amount tonight.

not looking forward to my matchup with ZouDave this week

This looks like a lot of fun
I was wondering if I could jump in as the U in the offseason? I’ve been trying to find a good online dynasty and this one seems like it is active and advances well.
Or join in week 12
They have 2 games against the cpu to finish out
As long as....
….they are not a A rated team…I think. Check the older RockMDynasty posts to see the terms and conditions. That is unless we just want another player. I feel like I can hang with just about anyone.

Yeah you can join in
Miami is available.
So is Virginia Tech and a few others.
When we finish this season, I’ll post a season recap that will show which teams are still open for season 2.
I think joining at week 12 isn’t a bad idea. Of course I say that cause I play Miami this week…. lol

Can I get moved to my own conference?
Because I can’t do anything against real people. It’s like I’m a step behind on everything.
spoke too soon kinda
still lost, but my team decided the fourth quarter was when they were going to shine. great game though, the most fun one ive had yet!
So the story builder won't let me publish my story.
And since I just accomplished the unthinkable and lost here’s the recap.
So basically Matt Sims decided to have his worst game ever, as did my backup running back Oku. Passes were flying over guys, under guys and everywhere between. Oku had butter fingers and coughed up the ball near the enemy endzone and my defense decided not to show up and they couldn’t tackle a tackling dummy if they wanted to.
On the bright side my freshman backup quarter back T. Bray had some nice zip on some passes but ultamitely couldn’t overcome the rather large deficit Iput myself in.
Now it’s time to focus on my next two games both of which are not easy. TCU is undefeated and Va Tech is always a tough draw. Here’s to going 11-1.
