PrintI'm waiting to advance the league due to two pvp games.
Other than that, I'm excited that I'm back to .500 and I think I can still make a bowl game and finish out on a four game winning streak. Recruiting is going well for me. I notice Tennessee is our best recruiter out of players so far.
The two top teams at this point are Tennessee and TCU. Iowa is also very high up as well. Actually everyone but me is doing pretty well :) That's ok. I'm just now starting to feel comfortable with Tech's offense so I'm feeling confident I'll get better as my talent and experience increases.
As we get near to the end of season 1, I'd like to think we're doing pretty well outside of a few slower updates on my part. For that I apologize. Things will get a little hectic starting Sept. 24 since I'll be in the process of moving. If we're dead set on keeping the schedule, I might temporarily assign someone the commission reigns to keep everything moving.
I have a feeling we'll have more people filling in the less populated division for season 2. We had people who were interested in Virginia Tech and Miami prior to the start of the dynasty. Minnesota was taken for but the user has since stopped playing so that is also available for someone who wants a challenge.

Here's to hoping...
I can keep from ending the season on a three game losing streak. I’ve been playing pretty poorly lately and I have two huge match-ups with TCU and Va Tech. Theoretically I could lose the division lead if I lose both games. So lots of important games ahead.
This has been lots of fun. Hope we can add more players next season.

…and it’s looking like a big if…my buddy wants to join he will want VT. He lives in Virginia. I’ll keep hounding him about joining.

I think UCLA and I are getting our game in late tonight
I haven’t been available much since the weekend as I’ve been battling a flu bug. It still has a pretty good hold on me but I’m back at work for the first time today.
The schedule is doing us pretty well, I think. We’re almost through year 1 and it’s barely into September. The off-season will be a challenge since there’s very little to do but we have to wait for everyone to do it.

The flu sucks. Hopefully we’ll be in the offseason during my move. That will give plenty of people time to do everything without a rush and give me time to move across the country and set up my 360 in Phoenix.

I'm dead-set in my place...
…and I won’t be suffering any internet or live outages for the foreseeable future. I would gladly accept the temp. comish. spot. I check both here and on the game every night, so if it comes to that I’m here for you.
I forget who I play next, but I’m sure we have to wait until it’s advanced. This weekend will be tough for me to knock the game out. Sunday mid/late afternoon looks best for me.

I play...
…TCU next? I can play around 7 or 8 this evening, early tomorrow morning or just about any time on Wednesday. If I’m correct this is one of the games I have been looking forward to.
Both Iowa and TCU away from home this year is and I’m sure will continue to be rough, but I’m excited about having both at home next year.
Anyone else have trouble keeping a lead late in the game while making sure you don’t lose any points because of sportsmanship? If I would have run up the score at Iowa I have to believe I would not have squandered a 16-pt. lead.

And...
…another loss. Great game, but I can’t help but feel disappointed. Only lose three players this off-season so I guess I can’t wait ‘til next year. I’m sure this once again drops me out of the top 25. Man…

Landed my first stud this past week
4-star RB. Should lighten the blow a bit should Vereen leave for the pros. Also landed my second 3-star QB of the year.
So I’ve got
QB: 2 *
RB: 1 **
WR: 2 *
T: 2 *
ATH: 2 *
OLB: 1 *
Pretty happy with that, though I need to land some more defense. I’ve got Soft Commits from another 3-star T and a 4-star WR, so hopefully those will stick, especially that WR.
so apparently 3 star symbols make things bold...

I play Iowa.
Pretty sure we’re already friends online. The best time for me to play is tuesday night late ish. Around 8 or 9.
I also might have to go home for a day this week. (Family friend in hospital) but other than that I should be good on thursday night as well.

In between my Halo: Reach sessions.
Should be available anytime after 4 tomorrow. That's the only time I have available.

…else been lucky enough to get to play every game so far this season? I think my next one is against the CPU to finish out the regular season then a bowl game that I can only assume will be against another CPU team, so I should get to play every game this dynasty year.

I had to miss 2
didn’t get the game in against Minnesota because tamnco had already disappeared, and then I couldn’t get hooked up with the Cal guy…can’t remember his name.
I think I would have won both games, given my results in the other head-to-head games, but you never know.

Dalton ran all over me. you got out to a big lead early and i scored some points in garbage time to make it look decent.

ive had two simmed as well
first tennessee and then UCLA. got rolled in both.

but I can’t remember for sure.
I just want to finish out the season well. I can get over .500 by beating Minnesota. And then I have one more game but I cant’ remember who it’s against.

Just played a really back and forth game on the road at UNC
came out on top with a TD with 30 secs left. Kept my bowl hopes alive!!

The way I've been playing, you could win easy.
But I still have to beat Iowa and Va Tech. If I lose to both you’ll play Va Tech in the CCG.
But I don’t plan on losing either. So get ready for my bag of tricks.
