My take...

1. Gabbert — OKLAHOMA. Why? It was freakin’ OKLAHOMA!!!!!
2. Franklin — Colorado. Just because.
3. Moore — Oklahoma. He carried half of the Sooner defense for 30 yards!
4. Josey — McNeese State. Freshman BREAKOUT performance.
5. Lawrence — Kansas. Kept the beakers off balance and gave preview of better things to come.
6. Murphy – Texas Tech. One of the few bright spots of the offensive game.

Even in Mexico....kU SUCKS!

Gabbert- Iowa. He nearly set the school record for yards
Franklin- OU, obviously.
Moore- Has to be OU
Josey- OU. Even though he was statistically better against McNeese, OU is a tad bit better than them.
Lawrence- kU. Pretty easy
Murphy- Tech. I think that’s the only real game he did anything in.

My votes

Gabbert – A&M ; I nearly went with Iowa but I couldn’t. This was a game that much of the offense went through Gabbs and he delivered near flawless stuff.

Franklin – Oklahoma; It felt good that the Freshman QB was in against Bob, though I have a feeling this will be the “DISRESPECT” for next year.

Moore – Oklahoma; Very, very good ypc against Oklahoma was great to see.

Josey – McNeese State; It was his “Oh hai college foossseball” moment.

Lawrence – TT; It was a solid performance when a lot wasn’t working that day.

Murphy – TT; see above.

Quarterback was an extremely tough choice for me.

He did an incredible job helping us win the Illinois game in the second half, and he had an absolute perfect TD to Moe. However, the way he played for a full game against an A&M defense that turned out to be pretty good was incredible.

For Franklin I went with CU, because he played more than 1 snap, and stepped in pretty admirably. He had a bad pick, but he showed a lot of promise that game.

Moore had to be Oklahoma, carrying defenders for 40 yards was priceless.

Josey easily was McNeese State.

Lawrence was against KU because he really carried us for that one drive (where he ended with a long TD), and had a nice game overall. Would love to give him the TTU game, but besides one run he was pretty quiet.

Murphy against Texas Tech because he had one long run, and that was really the most we saw from him all year.

My take:

Gabbert—A&M. The fact he played through that hip pointer to have the game he did is pretty incredible.
Franklin—Colorado. Probably because he played the most (and threw a touchdown!).
Moore—Oklahoma. Doesn’t need much justification.
Josey—McNeese. See above.
Lawrence—KU. I’m guessing he had a higher success rate against KU than Tech.
Murphy—Tech. His one shining moment was that touchdown in Lubbock.
