He has already proved himself an underwhelming hire at school that basically sells itself.

thing about it is, though,

he’s been 2 places in cfb with big time pressure. uf and nd are all about the football program and upholding tradition. he won’t have that at kansas and may have more time to prove himself. i wouldn’t be surprised to see him win 6 or 7 games in another 3-4 years. and i’d say as long as he’s not making bad noise off the field, they’ll be happy with that.

This is what the NCAA thinks about the Big XII:

“I still believe — and a lot of people disagree — I still believe conferences are regional activities and that people know what the SEC is: it’s the deep south of the United States. They know what the Pac 10-12 is: it’s the West Coast of the United States. They have meaning. The Big 12 has meaning as part of the country that people know, the Big Ten. People look at sport as a regional activity, not a national one.”

I may have been your third choice, girl
but it’s a fact I’m as big as the sun

It’s quite possible I’m your third choice, girl
but it’s a fact I’m as big as the sun

Right now you could care less about me
but soon enough you will care by the time I’m done

Let’s have a KFC Bowl and a Hardee’s Biscuit, sugar
and take our sweet little time about it

Let’s have BOOOOWWLLL, girl
and take our sweet little time about it

Tell the O-line, and QB to just get down
we’ll not run wind sprints together
and I’ll find a cooler to sit on and shout it

(guitar solo)
(gravy)
(more guitar)
(sweat, which is possibly more gravy)

You’ll read it in the newspaper
Ask your headcoach to see if they know
read it in the newspaper
Ask your headcoach and see if they know
that my appetite is ten fold, girl
I’ll let you see it if you want to before ya go

Let’s have a KFC Bowl and a Hardee’s Biscuit, sugar
and take our sweet little time about it

Let’s have a BOOOWWWLLL
and take our sweet little time about it

Tell the O-line, and QB to just get down
we’ll not run wind sprints together
and I’ll find a cooler to sit on and shout it

I can think of one or two things to say about it
Listen

(more guitar)
(getting some feedback from the Mic, oh just breathing)

RCT is putting the Money at around $3M

THREE MILLION DOLLARS

PER YEAR

THREE

Wherever they’re getting all this money from, why don’t they do something positive with it, like pay off their enormous debt, or fund more than the bare minimum of sports? Seriously, Kansas, I understand that you need to invest in the program to build it, but c’mon… seriously? You’re making it so freaking easy for us.

Wow, Kansas is soooo lucky we are leaving the conference.

Because they are on the verge of utter destruction in their athletic department. If Weiss gets paid that much and fails after all the money they just threw away with Gill, I can’t see their AD surviving it. All it would take to help tip it over the edge is to have Mizzou right there next to them rubbing their face in the gravel with some basketball wins.

1. It takes but one rec to become green over there. Obviously participation ribbons have caught on outside of the football program.

2. Because the school is dumber than ND, Weiss can get better athletes to come there. AWW YEAH WEIS, SHOOT FOR 50% GRAD RATE.

Once again the jayhawks imitate Mizzou in order to attempt to succeed.

They go out and hire a “bad” coach from a Florida school, which they know will have everyone in the sports world ridiculing them. But, they completely missed the fact that we were moving our coach to a better position and they were moving theirs to a worse one.

Also, does anyone else think Charlie Weiss might be Benjamin Button… He seems to be moving backward in his career, from hc at Notre Dame, to oc at the KC Chiefs, to oc at Florida, to hc at KU… pretty soon, as the fat melts away he’ll begin to appear more and more like Brad Pitt.
