The acceptance letter is in my hand, the deposit in the mail: I'm going to be a Longhorn

Long story short: UT's law program is awesome and comparatively very cheap, so I'll start attending the school in the fall.  And I have no idea how to balance loyalty to the school with my life-long Mizzou fandom.

I guess it shouldn't be too bad- after all, it's just three or four days of the year that Missour plays UT in basketball or football.  Immersing myself in the student experience of a huge university with good programs (my undergraduate wasn't Mizzou, but a small liberal arts school with no athletics) sounds like a lot of fun, but for most of my life, UT's been the entitled Goliath.  The first football game I saw in person was the torrential downpour in Austin in 1996, watching the Tigers come somewhat close to a rain-soaked upset.  I've loved Mizzou ever since, and sharing that interest really brought my dad and I closer until he died this past summer.  At the same time, I wouldn't want to rain on my future friends' parade by flaunting my Mizzou fando, and again, being there on campus for all those events sounds really cool.

Anyone here have any experience going to a conference-mate or rival's school?
