Okay, so it technically happened in Crystal City, which is in Arlington Virginia.
I myself arrived from work after it started, my wife and daughter were already there (wife is D.C. alumni chapter's president). Decent sized crowd, but a few people showed up late after the main events were over.

At that point Coach Anderson addressed the audience. My daughter was fine with the 6'6" guy playing Truman. She was fine when the band kicked into the fight song. But after HCMA said "MIZ" and the audience yelled back "ZOU!" she went into meltdown mode. Coach Anderson spoke for a couple of minutes, followed by AD Alden, but I was outside calming my daughter down. Perhaps someone else can show up and tell us what they said!
