I remember when Mizzou last faced a lame duck in the conference tournament

Mizzou #1 seed vs. #8 Colorado… I want to say it was 1990.

Announced he was stepping down something like the day before Mizzou was going to play them in Dallas in the first round of the tournament. Didn’t matter for Mizzou, who cruised (before having their hats handed to them by fictitious bird).

Yeah I miss JT

He was my favorite player. I love the part where 22-9 is a great season to JT considering his first two years. I’m not arguing, but I find the differing perspectives amusing.

but that Dispatch spring practice article only mentions Resonno and Burge at DT. Really?

Okay, the Blogging the Bracket S-Curve has gone off the deep end

Mizzou falls from an 8 to a 9 after Monday’s action. Above them, Gonzaga in the 9 seeds, George Mason as an 8, and Old Dominion as a 7. I know it’s probably an attempt to not lose them in the shuffle when major conference tournaments cause movement, but that is madness. I mean, I love the mid-major stories, but they do not have resumes to justify those seeds.
