Pre-Spring Depth Chart
Some thoughts:
- With Fisher out, lots of good reps to be had for Jack Meiners and Anthony Gatti to become valuable backups this year.
- Excited to see if Demien can break the rotation as well.
- Can Chris Freeman join that group of 8-10 OL who will be used, or is he still another year away?
- Will Sasser AND Hunt pass McGaffie at the H-WR spot?
- Will Lucas do the same to Gerau at the Z-WR spot?
- Lots of people on D out for the spring
- Will Vincent pass Foster at the DT spot?
- Great chances for Ruise and Parham to join the LB rotation
- Bolden/White/Webb and Gaines/Hobson/Holt should be interesting battles
- Will X. Smith pass Steeples?

Will Kony Ealy get into the rotation and see significant playing time?
That is one I am curious about beyond what you listed. Also, see if Leftwich has a place. With his kind of speed, kick returner comes to mind. Tough to put a freshman back there unless he is just special.
"Anderson won't make substitutions. He'll change lines - Tiller, Taylor and English hit the bench while Denmon, Dixon and Paul hop the boards. Welcome to Hockey Night in Columbia. He won't take time outs. He'll take on fuel and tires. Welcome to the Hardwood 400." - Atch
I am curious to see if he works out at all with the punters

he's a punter too?
I knew he did kick offs in high school, I didn’t know he punted also. It would be sweet to have someone who could put it in the end zone on kick offs. I remember watching the Nebraska game and thinking how demoralizing it was that after each score they just kicked into the back of the end zone and we got the ball at the 20.
Yeah, that was the one that jumped out at me.
I was kind of hoping to see him used as an H-back some this year.
We all understand what being a Mizzou fan is like. That’s no excuse for being a douche.
He would make . . .
. . . a heck of a fullback: size, good hands, bulk, strength, agility. Just sayin’ :-)
That's a veteran O-Line for sure
… any thought to getting Lambert and Ebner on the field at the same time? (That means having one of them – Ebner – play outside).
"When among evil companions, try to fit in." - Wild Bill Donovan
I think Lambert plays outside before Ebner
Ebner is just too much the MLB prototype, I think Lambert’s more mobile.

We're gonna miss him.
As in, me and the few friends lucky enough to meet him post-Alamo Bowl victory.

- I think this furthers the notion that the center job is Ruth’s to lose. I’d love to see Britt make a push, but I’m operating under the assumption Ruth starts at center come the 2011 opener.
- MORE MEINERS PLZ
- Hey Nick Demien and Mitch Morse: If you guys want to grab a starting guard spot by the throat and claim it as yours, I’m all for it.
- Please let LDW pass Ro at the X.
- Diminutive Henry Josey wearing No. 20. Barry Sanders much?
- Please let Hunt or Sasser factor into the offense in 2011 (I’m operating under the assumption Lucas will do so anyway).
- Malbrough probably couldn’t have picked a worse Spring to be injured.
- Xavier Smith, make the No. 2 CB spot yours, if only because I don’t trust the alternative.
- How much of a battle do we expect between Bolden and White?
- Injuries to Ebner and Lambert are no fun, but I’m glad they’ll give Bonner a chance to get some extra reps after all that rehab.
