OK, so now that Mizzou is "in the cross-hairs" of SEC expansion, I figured it's finally time to talk about this. First off let me state as a Mizzou Fan I'm torn about Mizzou being In the SEC. (If the Big 12 Collapses) On one hand Mizzou would get much more publicity in the SEC because, well, lets face ESPN loves the SEC. On the other hand I really hate the SEC in general. They seem to have the arrogant we're better and tougher than everyone else because ESPN says so attitude. I get that they won several BCS championships, but really whats a more controversial event than the BCS Championship? You get into the Championship for being undefeated (Most of the time). But doesn't several different teams going undeafeated in one conference possibly mean that conference is weaker? A tough conference would be almost impossible to battle through with only one loss.
But alas I'm getting away from my point and that is the SEC Trophy. I was half watching an LSU game with some friends because it was the only Football game on. When a commercial for the SEC showed me this:
My friend turned me me and said, "It looks like three guys blowing each other. "
And I replied, "Well It is the SEC's Trophy"
But all Laughs aside, Who seriously thought this trophy was a good idea?
