Only reason we are close considering the 3 piont shooting.

all in all, shooting hasn't terrible
just the threes. they aren’t generating many easy looks, though…not much flow.

Do i have to be the one to say it?
All we heard was how instead of the crazy full court press we had consolidated that to stingy half court defense…..but to me we are just as bad on the half court this year as last. We just aren’t giving up easy transitiion.

It depends on who we beat.
If Illinois turns out to be good, and Cal or Notre Dame sneak into the tourney somehow, and then we knock off Baylor, K-State, and ku I think that’s good enough for at least a 2 or 3. Then if we can win the Big 12 Tournament by beating Baylor then that could propel us to a 1.
And 14-4 is no gimme. It’s hard to win all your road games with a high ranking and a target on your back. Every road game is a huge game for the opponent.

So I feel like since MU is leaving the LHN shouldn't bug me anymore
But everytime I see one of the commercials I get angry
It’s ok, give in to your anger.

And one last thought:
Rolls Royce White could use some free throw practice. I’m not sure I’ve ever seen anybody airball two in one game.
He should just one harmmer throw his ft's as hard as he can
It’s not like it would make hs percentage worse, and it would look way better than what ever the hell he was doing
I just had to check to remind myself
Gottleib…..45.3% career from the free throw line. Rejoice!
Sometimes I say things.

80% of his pants were on forward though
Ratliffe only shoot 77%, so that’s a win for Gottleib
Sometimes I say things.
Somebody last year cant remember who airballed back to back free throws.
Annoying You Since 1986
By my count...
Rally Baby is now 5-2. Not a bad start, Rally Baby.

Didn't work against Davidson

We were doing the "LOL Watch this" thing during that game

Preliminary game scores
Assuming my spreadsheet has the formula correct, and these are not adjusted for the competition:
Player GAME SCORE
P Pressey 16.5
M Pressey 15.0
Denmon 13.8
Ratliffe 13.7
Dixon 12.9
Moore 11.3
English 10.4
lol if denmon still makes the trifecta.
and that right there is just a good basketball team.
If I was going on a picnic, I'd invite Ryan Theriot, and I would ask him to bring the lunchables.

Man, that's balance right there.
a Pressey Tag Team (back again) at the top! And Denmon as the low scorer in 3rd…7 assists and 0 TO’s, with only 4 shots missed, will do that, I guess.
most nights
we’d probably take Denmon’s production tonight if it was done by Flip.

Texas Tech may be historically bad
Which means they’re going to take us into triple OT.

Nice win tonight
I was sweating it out in a KU friendly bar full of people doing some KC soccer convention. Glad to get back to Columbia for the Tejas game.

The Iowa St game thread is hilarious. Example: “Allen and Baab rebound like the ball has AIDS.”
