I generally try to avoid any sort of self promotion because I think bragging is dumb and pointless. However, 1) I am dumb; 2) I remain anonymous on this board, so I'm doing it.
I am training for an iron distance triathlon this year. (It's not an ironman because Ironman is a brand like Nike, not a distance of a race). In my training, which started the second week of January, I have been logging my workouts online, which has kept track of distances and times for me and even made some cool graphs. Today, while logging my workouts I looked back on the (partial) month of January. So far, this month I have swim a little over 10 miles, biked a little over 200 and ran about 54 miles. I'm fairly amazed that I am still standing. I've got 2:30 on the bike tomorrow and a 8 mile run on Sunday. I'm feeling infinitely better about my chances of actually crossing the finish line today than I was just 2 or 3 weeks ago.
I told you at the start it was dumb and pointless, this is your fault for reading so far.
