I bought tickets earlier in the year, and some plans fell through so I brought my mom to the game.
From start to finish I was impressed with Columbia. First with the mass transit to the game, getting from 8th and Ash from the Armory to the game for $1.50 was a bargain, and the bus was clean and the driver super nice.
Felt nothing but welcome from all the Mizzou fans, and I loved the tunnel under the road to help people get to the stadium. There isn't a bad seat in the house, I sat in the endzone and found that it was fantastic.
There were ample concessions (something I can't say about Penn State), but an older Mizzou fan said that you used to be able to go outside and tailgate and then come back in. Can someone shed some more light on that?
The rain. Gods the rain. So glad I brought ponchos. Still it was nice to feel that clean country air, and not smell wet garbage like I do around Knoxville when it rains.
I loved the fire engine and the Big Mo. When you got a first down I thought it was clever and fun when your announcer did M-I-Z, and the crowd answered with Z-O-U.
All in all it was a fantastic trip, you guys have some of the finest fans, and I'm glad that you're in the SEC with us.
